FIRESTONE RIDE RITE PROBLEM

For those of you who have the "Firestone Ride Rite" installed on their trucks, check out my photos and tell me please, what if the metal ring is gone around the airbag? Mine is no longer covered with a protective tube and it is all rusty so I am wondering what to do. Thanks!

Once the ring breaks or rusts away it will balloon out. If they balloon out far enough to rub they'll end up blowing out. You're probably looking at shopping for replacements.

Thank you for the answer. I'll have a look and maybe try to fit a new homemade ring myself. I have nothing to lose. The worst case will be a new one.
