did a whole front end... bilstein, lower control arm, zone upper control arm, sway bar links... finished it up and had a slight klunk when turning... took a look at everything looked good and tight... today disconnected the sway bar and what do you know, no more noise... put it back on (tightened the heck out of the links) and sound it back. Has be thinking it is the bushings? anyone else ever have this? thinking it can't be the bar itself, just a hunk of round metal!! so, is there a good aftermarket bushing or should I just go Mopar and be done with it?

Get suspension Maxx sway bar endlinks from @Nick@GotExhaust. The oem style one you have are worn out and you’ll never get it tight enough

Here are some possible causes:
  • Worn or bad tie rods.
  • Damaged sway bar links or anti-roll bars.
  • Bad suspension bushings.
  • Broken ball joints.
  • Worn out shock absorbers or struts.
  • Steering Column linkage - universal
  • Worn Bearing
  • Damaged or worn out steering rack.
Other possible causes but doubtful
  • Steering damper
  • Loose wheel nuts

I think you should check all these things out first. What you did so far may have caused to problem to become known.

How many miles on the truck?

noticed that you also have different bushings?... are they greasable? I am was also going to go down that route. what brand are those and would you recommend?

I just drilled and tapped the factory brackets to accept a grease nipple and added Energy Suspension busing that I also drilled to allow grease to make its way to the sway bar.

when i did my 99 1500 my local autoparts store had aftermarket greasable energy suspension bushing kits. they are universal but they bolted right in for me.
