2019 Rebel with air suspension and 26k miles. Lately I’ve been occasionally hearing the air system blow off pressure like a semi truck while warming up in the driveway. Now, in the past few days, it won’t raise from the entry/exit height and gives the notice “Air Suspension System Cooling Please Wait.” After a couple miles down the road it will lift to Aero position and then seems to act normally.

I don’t know if it’s just a response to the winter temperatures, but this has never happened in previous winters before. Normally I leave it parked in the aero or normal height, but have been dropping it down to make cleaning the snow off easier.

Any ideas, or should I just take it in for service?

My air ride equipped limited does that every now and then. I want to say I’ve heard it do it at least two or three times but I don’t have any air suspension problems though, but I would say if you’re getting a cooling message, which I’ve never seen before or heard of before, you might just need to go to your local dealer and check the pressure level of your stored nitrogen. You might be a little bit low.

Ramdat, look at the link below and see if this helps.

If your system is exhausting air, then it believes the systems psi is too great

Thanks guys. I was thinking the same thing, regarding too much psi detected by the system control. Since it’s still j see warranty, I’ve made an appointment at the dealership for service. We’ll see what they diagnose.
Thanks the the insights.

So far, knock on wood, I’m four years and little over 36,000 miles into my truck that’s got air ride and I haven’t had anything wrong with it yet but knowing ahead of time that there was people having issues with it, I purchased a lifetime warranty with mine just in case something happens.

This one is a lease, and it’s way under miles. However, since there aren’t any replacement trucks available on the lots, I’ll likely be buying this one when the lease ends in a couple months. I’ll get an extended warranty at that time.

Smart move. I’ve been driving Mopar/Chrysler products ever since the turn of the new millennium and up until now, the only problems I’ve ever had with any of those was stuff that was self-inflicted and I don’t know what the deal is but so far, my 2018 had to have the headliner replaced under the manufacturer warranty to do it starting to fall down around the sunroof and so far on my lifetime warranty, I had to have the whole 8.4 Uconnect radio replaced due to that screen delamination from that subpar glue they used to adhere to the digitizer on the touchscreen that wasn’t very resilient to the heat so, getting that warranty is a wise move in my opinion.
