I have never gotten 10mpg other than when in Moab. Even running around town I get 13 or so and even if I am driving 80mph I get 12.5. If I keep it around 70mph I get great mpg. I don't feel the need to floor it from stop lights so I am sure that helps.

Luckily I married a farm girl. She doesn't really tell me it's dumb, she just shakes her head and laughs at the time.
She loves the idea of an Overlanding truck though. We haven't been able to really go camping in over 10 years.
Spring time should be lots of fun when the snow starts melting!

Not sure what to do to the truck yet.....
I have great suspension, tires, and an unlocked PCM. Starting to gather up some lights.
I also have the Abel Components wiring harness to lock axles in any transfer case setting, but have never had the time to install it.
I was thinking about a camper and some air bags, but I think that a small off road camp trailer would be more fun.

My new PW just arrived so I'll be adding suspension, wheels/tires and lights before camping season. We access a lot of Dry camping on Crown land here and we tow a 23' Winnebago Micro Minnie. Adjustable suspension, twin axle, A/T tires and full 3-season insulation make it a perfect trailer for us. Total weight is 4600lb dry so I'll update everyone once I tow with the Thuren suspension and 37s.

The only thing that my truck has that the 2022 doesn't is the sun roof, which I don't really use

The things that I don't like about my PW seem to have been addressed with the newer models
Better headlights (I think)
Locking Diff in 2WD or 4 Hi
No more 6 speed transmission

I'm curious though, do the 2022's get better mileage than the pre '19 models with the 6 speed transmission?

I'm currently getting around 12 on the highway if I take it easy, goes down to 10.2 or so in town
Lots of elevation changes on the road here. I might get better mileage if I were on flatter ground.....
I know........It's about the "Smiles," not the miles.......


My truck is paid off with really low miles, just wondering if the grass is greener I guess
