I recently put GTR 9006 CSP Mini's in my fog lights on my Sport with projectors. I notice the orientation of the led chips is at 11 & 4 o'clock in the passenger side and 1 & 7 o'clock in the driver's side. I also put the 9005 CSP's in the high beams. They are at 12 & 6 o'clock. Does the fog light orientation seem right? Any others with the vertical fogs on the Sport model have their LED's aligned like this? They appear to be fully seated. The reflectors seem to be on the top and bottom and I would think the LED's need to also be at 12 & 6 like the highs.

no you still need 9 & 3. the whole reason is so the led chip is further from 6 o'clock preventing as much light as possible from reflecting off the lower half of the reflector bowl back up into eyes of oncoming traffic

Ok, I'll have to check them again. I don't think the CSP's are clockable. And they only go in one way. Weird.

I just put some Auxito 9006’s in fogs that are clocked in a similar manner. They don’t appear to be adjustable either.
I was thinking 12 & 6 would be best with the design of the reflector. Haven’t had a chance to try them at night yet.

All leds should be clocked at 9 and 3 in reflectors to give the best beam pattern.

This was tried and the beam was more like a head light vs a fog, 9/3 is definitely the way to go even in the vertical fog.

Definitely need bulbs that can be clocked, im running morimoto 2stroke 2.0 in my fogs, 9/3 with a nice flat wide pattern, run 12/6 and the beam goes up into headlight area.

Led board should be vertical 12 and 6 and the chips should be facing 9 and 3 for the fogs. Confirmed with morimoto and headlight revolution.

I clocked my fogs at 3 and 9 and got a good pattern. That's what you want. If they can't be clocked then get a set that can. I use Fahren's
