Anybody found a cheap set of 4 TPMS Sensors (aftermarket is fine) that worked and didn't need programming RECENTLY?

Seems to be conflicting information on which need programming, or which will automatically find the sensors.
Definitely avoiding a dealer visit, and would prefer not paying a tire shop to program.

Ebay? Amazon? Elsewhere?

Any that you had work recently?

Thx!

It has been a bit but tpms.com had good options in the past. I got huf intellisens for my old van and they worked no issue. Huf is one of the big oem mfgs.

I took the OEM part number and searched the web and found ebay had the best price of $45 shipped for all 4 back in 2012. Everybody else wanted ~$100 each. They did not need programing and work like a charm.

Those cheap ebay ones are almost certainly not oem but compatible generics. They usually work... but if you get a bad one you're paying someone to remount and balance the tire a second time... so when I had to buy some I paid for the known brand at around $30 each iirc.

I bought a set of eBay specials. They worked right away. It's a couple years later now and one has recently failed.

The ones I bought, were the OEM ones. And at the price I stated. I compared both the OEM and Ebay ones and they were identical. I even checked them when they arrived to make sure it was not one of those bait and switch deals. I must have gotten lucky.

Not sure what year your truck is but I just bought these a few months ago and they worked right away. I did however make sure my TPMS tool read each sensor before I put them in, which it did. I put the wheels on the truck, adjusted the air pressure and let it sit for about 1/2hr went out started the truck to drive it and the TPMS light never came on. Been working since. Mine is a 21 new body style https://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-of-4-B...p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
