I got fed up with the gas station fill nozzle hanging up when I fill up with gas.

The other day, I ordered the correct replacement part from a RAM Dealer in Yuma, Arizona.

Today I went to an independent mechanic with the part in hand and he changed out the gas fill assembly.

I immediately went to a nearby gas station and filled up. Problem fixed.

Hey everyone, I have a 2011 dodge ram 1500 ST. I have purchased the MX+ and the Alfaobd software. Can anyone please tell where I need to go in the vehicle configuration to program to turn on the RKE feature so it is activated. I would also like to know if someone could tell me how to program new key fobs with this software has well.

The AlphaODB section of the 4th gens would be a great place to start

Finally reached the point of needing to get my PowerStop brakes on the truck. They've been sitting on the shelf in the garage hoping to do my cam swap and brakes and "everything" at once this winter. Took the truck to pick my kids up from school and the low speed chirp I had turned into a grind. So now I'm getting around to putting them on. Need to get new parking brake shoes tomorrow because the factory bonded ones separated when I got the rotor off.

Thank you WY-Dave. I had already read that post, it was helpful, but did not layout the procedure for my 2011 dodge ram 1500. I figured this out finally on my own, if anyone else has a 2011 dodge ram 1500 that did not come with a key fob factory and you have this kind of ignition 2011 dodge ram ignition.png, this should work for you truck. As long has your vehicle has the WIN module already installed you can do this.

I purchased 2 remote keyless entry key fobs aftermarket on the internet.2011 dodge ram 1500 key fob.png They were really cheap on Amazon ($30.00). I also purchased OBDLink MX+obdlinkMX.png on Amazon ($119.00) and AlfaOBD App AlfaOBD.png on google play ($49.00) for android. You will also need to go to the dealership parts department with your registration and license and request the 4-digit programming pin for your vehicle.

Insert a programmed key to the vehicle and turn it to the run position, but do not start the vehicle.
Insert the OBDLink MX+
Establish the link to the OBDLink MX+ via bluetooth with AlfaOBD.
In AlfaOBD do the following:
Select: Ram 1500 (DS/DX/DT)
Select: Radio Frequency HUB(RFH)
Select: Wireless Control Module (WCM) MY2011-12 non-PowerNet Var.1 (There were other versions that seemed to also work, but this is the one I used)

You then have to click the "CONNECT" button. It will tell you if it has established a connection to the WCM.

On the bottom right of the screen on the AlfaOBD, there will be a little car icon with the hood open, click on it.
On the screen that opens you can select from the drop down "Program Ignition Keys or Key FOB's"
Insert the Key FOB you want to program into the ignition and turn it to the ON position, but do not start the vehicle.
Enter your 4-digit programming key and hit "START". Insert another key and do the same to program another.

After the keys are programmed, they should not be able to start the vehicle by putting them into the ignition. The buttons will not work though.
Now you need to go back to the main screen and get into the BCM, do the following:
Select: Ram 1500 (DS/DX/DT)
Select: Body Computer
Select: Central Gateway Module MY2006-12 Non-PowerNet (This is what I used, I just went through the list until I found one that it would communicate with, it was this one for my truck)

You then have to click the "CONNECT" button. It will tell you if it has established a connection to the BCM.
On the bottom right of the screen on the AlfaOBD, there will be a little car icon with the hood open, click on it.
On the screen that opens you can select from the drop down "Car Configuration Change"
On this same screen there is a "select option" drop down menu, select "Vehicle Config 2: RKE System Present"
On this same screen you will not have "select value" drown down menu, select "SET" and then click "START". You may have to do this twice, until it says it is now set to "SET".

Finally, we are at the last step. We need to go back to the main screen again and get back into the WCM. We need to reset the WIN module, do the following:
Select: Ram 1500 (DS/DX/DT)
Select: Radio Frequency HUB(RFH)
Select: Wireless Control Module (WCM) MY2011-12 non-PowerNet Var.1 (There were other versions that seemed to also work, but this is the one I used)

You then have to click the "CONNECT" button. It will tell you if it has established a connection to the WCM.
On the bottom right of the screen on the AlfaOBD, there will be a little car icon with the hood open, click on it.
On the screen that opens you can select from the drop down "Reset WIN Configuration".

That's it, the buttons on your remote keyless entry should now be working!! Hope this helps those of you who have been trying to figure this out for the 2011 dodge ram 1500.

Yea I got the z36 kit for front and rear. Rotors and pads. Found them on Amazon for cheaper than anywhere else even having a 10% discount on rockauto, Amazon was still cheaper. However, don't buy the front and rear as a package, Amazon is making money by people not paying attention.

F&R : $459.99
F: 212.19
R : $184.64

$212.19+$184.64= $396.83

Installed in the past few weeks. Leather steering wheel wrap, Ram pedal covers, Black emblems and lit running boards. Tailgate assist should be here tomorrow. Hoping to get some Clazzio leather seat covers soon.

I'm trying to decide if I should put it up for sale now with the intention of buying a new truck at the end of the year, or keep it and buy/install a "used ecu". It's been a great truck with no problems but I'm a bit worried about possible failures once the warranty runs out.

Put in a set of airlift 1000hd bags last weekend.

Today I wired up a second 12v power point and a USB fast charge 3 port under the dash. Which should clean up some of the cables in the cab.

I didn't take any at the time and it's cold and dark now.

I chose the HD's not because I needed the extra capacity, but because they were black and wouldn't stand out, but it wouldn't have mattered, you really can't see them at all with the wheel well liners in place.

Over yesterday/today I installed my 1.5" body lift added to my eibach pro lift kit and added rigid flush mount cubes to the rear bumper that are attached to the reverse light wire on the trailer wiring harness for signalimage0.jpegIMG_6190.jpgIMG_6197.jpg

Got the rear brakes done finally. Work schedule has been hectic to say it nicely. Got the garage nice and warm so I clean the caliper and bracket up to give a coat of black caliper paint. Living in the rust belt I'd like to keep the progression of vehicle cancer to a minimum. driver side was metal to metal, and parking brake shoe de-laminated, passenger side had a de-laminated pad. Gotta get the fronts done this weekend.
