I'm trying to narrow down an issue I have with my wipers. Anyone know if the 2006 Ram 1500 has a relay for the wiper motor?
I dont see any in the TIPM and nothing under the dash that resembles the ones that the parts stores advertise as a fit for my 2006 Ram 1500...see below.
The wipers are getting power from somewhere, I just dont know what that somewhere is.
I'll be looking at the multifunction switch on the steering column next once the relay mystery is solved.

My wipers developed a mind of their own a couple years back. I would hit the remote lock and the wipers would go. I'd turn off the headlights and the wipers would go. When I put them on intermittent they would stop and start on their terms unless I put them on full speed. It turned out the contacts on the back of the wiper motor corroded and they were getting mixed signals. I tore it apart and sanded down the contacts and they've worked flawlessly ever since. Since I forgot to use dialectric grease on the contacts I'm expecting them to act up again in the near future. This is a common problem so it was easy to find a utube video to walk you through it, if that is what you're experiencing. Good luck

Yeah, thats probably the issue but, I'm still curious as to where the wiper motor gets it's power from.

I'm showing 2 relays in the IPM. One is for wiper on/off and the other is high/low relay. After digging a little deeper, it looks like it's fuse #8 (30Amp). Controls a bunch of other stuff related to the washers, fluid level sensor, etc. HTH
