Looking for a how to on the following.
I bought a 2014 Chrysler Town And Country that was a fresh water flood vehicle. After going through it it was determined that the engine 3.6L was Hydro locked.
Purchased a 2016 caravan engine 3.6L with 38K miles on it out of Texas... I'm in Mi. Had it shipped up, works great after install with no problems other than the following.
I need the Vin # from the 2016 3.6 purchased and shipped from Texas. The seller "American Auto Export out of Huston" will not track their records to locate the title (for the Vin info.) for whatever reason...To time consuming, No help, Vehicle destroyed Etc.
Does anyone know how I can trace the engine serial # to the vehicle vin? I need this information to get the van inspected in Michigan allowing for a rebuilt title.
I always had great success from folks on the forum and I know it's not a ram...but still a Chrysler so looking to see if anyone here can help me out.
Thanks in advance. Dan
