Afternoon gents,

Still new to the forums, but im a pro lurker now. Thanks for all the resources!

After months of trying to figure things out, ive decided to go low instead of high. Going to build a street truck as its a pavement princess anyways. Already enough 6” lifts with 37s at my local mall

Heres where i need help. So far what i have gathered i will need is the following

2” front/4” rear drop by belltech. Unless you guys have other ideas

From what ive read, i should use the inez no cut brackets to correct control arm and axle angles? Should i replace shocks and struts as well?

Really like the 24” x 10” srt10 replicas. Cant seem to find any wheels with a lip that arent -44 offset.

Im not trying to spend a ton, but would like to do it once. Ideally hoping for a flush stance. Photo of stock height now.

Help me build this thing! Thank you

My suggestion before you drop coin on belltech is, talk to Inez suspension. Might keep you from spending $$ x 2.

Inez seams to be the best right now. I have ground force 2" front drop coils and it's slightly lower than an stock 2wd. I only wanted to get low enough for the parking garages around me vs looks.

I am on Bilstein 5100 front and some 3/4 ton Kb shocks in the rear. Only bottomed out once so far. I would swap shocks just to not pay twice, stocks shocks don't last.

I lowered my 4x4 with Inez kit 4/6.. I wouldn't change my decision. Rides great and I haven't had any issues.

How hard was the inez kit to install? I've installed the belltech in the past on a 05 rclb that was easy to install with my hand tools in my garage

I believe you need to replace the shocks with shorter ones.. When I bought my 15 crew cab 4x4 it had a 2/4" lowering kit in it and the front was lowered with the adjustable ride height struts.. the rear had shorter springs and drop brackets and short shocks. I had to destroy the front shocks when lifting it back up to get the front springs off but I still have everything else I removed. I got fantastic diesel mileage with the lowering kit installed but I just didnt care for the look on my particular truck. The 2/4" drop did level my truck well. It also rode rough in my case with only 1" of rear travel in the rear axle before bottoming out. the previos owner installed air lift bags in the springs to help but they made the ride even rougher IMO.

The inez kit is not difficult to install and my recommendation is to watch a couple of YouTube videos. It can be installed over a weekend with hand tools as long as you follow directions, understand the limits of drop by vehicle,
type and don't have unreasonable expectations about it fixing bad decisions or cheap parts.

I Installed the kit in a day in a half with a friend helping. Rolled it into the alignment shop that Monday and she's been daily driven sense.

Also grab some shorter front end links! 2008 Ford f-150 ones work great (Moog K80337). From Amazon they were $60 for the pair and makes a world of difference. I would also look at a rear sway bar, if you don't already have one. Adjustable pan hard bar helps too. I am too nervous to install my IHC no cut drop shackles and need to asap. Wish I would have done it sooner.
