So I searched the forum and Havnt fount anything on this topic. I have recently blown up my Zf9.25 rear diff and here in Canada do the gears and carrier is going to be roughly $2000 and that's just in parts. Seeing as I have plans for more power mods and larger tires I feel this will be a ticking time bomb once again.

So my question is has anyone swapped a 11.5 Axle into a ram 1500? It looks like a 2015 Ram 2500 axle will fit, it would be 2 inches wider. I understand it'd 8 bolt which I'm not worried about, I would need a second brake proportioning valve so the rear brakes worked correctly with the fronts.

My only real concern is driveshaft bolt up and speed sensors, if it has two speed sensors and not a central mounted diff speed sensor it would be fine. Anyone have any ideas or experience with this or am I going to be the first to take a shot at this and do a write up too? [emoji23]

The coil on 2500 mount more to center of axle than the 1500s do. So that’s fist task “unless you’re going to do coilovers”. The arms I “believe” will mount up but something tells me there going to be different enough it’s not a direct fit either.
