I also do not leave my Hitch in, would not be able to get truck in Garage when I had to due to Pending Weather. This area is prone to Hail Storms and such.

That's probably why it was free but it does work pretty well.

I do have an update. I pulled the trigger on a hitch step. I didn't need the step but I wanted the protection. It arrives tomorrow. Had to go through Amazon because no one locally had it. I'm going to try and take the cover itself off and leave the rest on to stop the step from rattling.

Here's an update. The Bully step is installed. It's nice and it matches the truck although I'm not crazy about the way it sticks out but that's the purpose so I think I just need time to get used to it. I did take the cover off and left the collar to tighten the step. Without that it would rattle.

And as a side note the Android 12 One UI 4.0 update adding the ability to edit out specific parts of a pic like my license plate is really nice.

I have Bullwinkles "Moose Knuckle" installed for the winter. Most people back off when they see this sticking out.

Decided to leave hitch and ball with anti theft lock in after a couple of Walmart numskuls parked almost in my tailgate. At least now I can load stuff in my box and deswade folks from bumper parking.
