Hi all, new to the forums.

I'll be towing campers and commuting so better MPG is important. Never had a diesel before, I assume it's reliable.
From the limited inventory that's available out there I can either pick the Hemi that has all the bells and whistles like heads up display/digital mirror or go with the Level 2 ecodiesel, which unfortunately has air suspension that I hear fails consistently.

Looking for suggestions before I break the bank. Is the air suspension that unreliable in cold weather?
Both options have the Rambox, which is a must for me. There are a few diesel level 1 options out there but do not provide any savings.

Also curious if anyone in Canada was able to knock anything off MSRP recently.

I'm not in extreme rush as I have my current SUV still.
If you're looking for trouble free driving then stay away 4 corner air suspension. I had it in my 2017 Longhorn and it was a nightmare for me. Traded it in with 32000kms on it. I've commented on this in the 4th gens forum many times.

@Tim7139 From a business perspective would you want to fix systems that will break again and the same people that shop hop go around saying that you fixed it a few times and it’s never been right?
Because it doesn’t matter if it worked for 5 years after your repairs they would still bad mouth you to the next guy saying it never worked right, because that’s how those consumers act. Believe me I own multiple businesses and customers are all the same.
Sounds like a description of most computer repairs...tech said they removed the virus and but here I am three years later with dead pixels on my monitor and a slow running computer that won't load my brand new software so tech must be incompetent.

Realistically if the system is inspected and serviced regularly it should not be an issue. The bigger business issue is the added costs to service such a small part of the truck market makes zero sense when there is more than enough other profitable work.

You’ve got it all figured out my phone rings 3 times a day. SMH
LOL
Don't shake the head, dance and shake the ****** man.

I'm confident you get calls to upgrade a working system of any type on a RAM for better performance on or off road, or to replace components of a worn non air suspension on RAMs. No idea how much of your business RAMs make up, or how much is even trucks.

When you'd rather not give an idea how often you do other repairs and give a joke answer I'm happy to joke with you. Saves me having to dig into how likely people are to do shocks or springs at home instead of using a shop, or make a crack about how many other pickups have factory air suspention options.
