Saw a new ram 2019 Big Horn, it's a Quad Cab 2wd but that's all I need (we're FL snowbirds)
has all the options I want, console, big radio, NON e torque hemi, 20" Chromes, tow package, looks like even a spray in bedliner tho it's not listed. 13,700 1 OWNER MILES (NOT A RENTAL HE BOT IT AT SAME DEALER NEW) 42,700 sticker in 19, they're asking 35,900...IS THIS A FAIR PRICE ON THIS TRUCK IN THIS MARKET?? Sure I'd rather have the Laramie or limited crew cab but they're 20K higher, and this one loaded up pretty good. What do you think?

Yeah, if would if you are interested the market. That mileage could easily bring sticker again. Being in this business, I have seen similar trucks go for higher.

Due to how the used market is I couldn't see buying used when you could order one brand new for around the same price, from Mark Dodge and possibly some other dealers as well.

That's the reason I ordered my 21 back in March, I had never bought new before but the used trucks I was looking at were just as expensive as what I ended up ordering. Getting 0% if you're financing provides extra savings as well.

Ordering of course is a little risky right now too due to parts shortages but if you can afford to wait it seems to be a much better financial decision. The used market is completely ridiculous right now. Of course MSRP has also gone up over the last few years, but it never hurts to get a quote from some places.

I looked at Mark Dodge and i'll talk to them, but for this same truck equipped like this I think I'm looking at 52-55000. The base tradesmans START at 38 with no equipment! I DID find what I consider to be a much better value...A 19 Crew Cab Laramie Longhorn loaded up the 12" radio and a 19 Speaker Harmon sound system...AND ONLY 2500 MILES...for 46,000. I'm going to go look at that one. I'll still call mark but I think I'm looking to pay 18K more for the same truck above. Here's the Longhorn:

FWIW: I bought a used (7,492 miles) 2019 Laramie Longhorn in Oct 2019. I paid the dealer $45,659. Last Friday I ordered a 2022 RAM Laramie loaded up for $75,135 - no discounts off MSRP. On my 2019 they matched the CarMax cash offer $45,500. I expect when they get my trade in 8-12 weeks they'll put in on their lot for something over $50K

Search KBB, NADA, plus CarMax and other sites. See what you can find on prices for similar provisioned trucks. Then decide if it is a good deal to you. Of course you will hear stories if great deals, but they don't matter, it only matters what you can find today. Maybe search for a 2WD in a northern climate. When I bought my 2018 2500 new in 2019, I almost pulled the trigger on a 2wd 2500 Big Horn 8' box with decent options for $23,750. They couldn't give it away but my wife said we needed 4WD although I owned at the time a 2003 2500 2wd I bought new.

My point, search the Ram inventory search tool and look in northern states. You might get a smokin' deal right now on a leftover 2021 (they are out there, found some in Orlando just now). I bought my truck 300 miles away, I never saw truck until day I picked it up. Did all negotiations in email and phone calls. Good luck.

I'm seeing that truck being listed with almost 55k miles, not 2500. Maybe they updated the listing?

Yes for that low miles it is a good price for that trim level. I bought my 214x4 5.7l warlock with 10 miles in June for 35k. Sticker was 48k. For what your looking at and still has warranty sounds like a good price
