Forgot the pics…but to answer your question, yes 2.5 but they said they had to add a spacer because it wasn’t level. when i bought the zone 6” kit i asked if it would level it, they said yes…but when they were done, it wasn’t…so they added the spacer.

@bankr Wait a second they are lift stacking Coil overs???????
That is so wrong I wasn’t able to see until I zoomed in. Those coilovers adjust from 0-3 inches so there is no need for that spacer and depending on what that extra spacer is doing correctly angles or not it’s really really really bad for your suspension components and truck. Can you get me more pictures please

If air suspension is disabled by the dealer or Alfa obd removing the fuses/ relays will not be necessary

He said it’s all in the name of leveling the truck as the rake was still present when they were done. Hopefully these pics help?

They (he) screwed you
I see what they did. When you added the lift they backed the coilover all the way back below 0 (factory height) if you look at the coil overs they have threads on them. I’ll send you a pm with my cell. I can probably explain it better than type it.

Yikes they stacked the lift spacer with a leveling spacer! That is WRONG. All they had to do was crank the coil over up as it is designed to and that would of provided the added lift needed to level it.

I know these are different models but the same concept applies to both. Threads will be exposed even when running a coil over at 0" Raised (stock height) As you can see in the pictures here. Your installer ran the coil over all the way out (I wouldnt be surprised if the coil is loose uncompressed) I have seen this done before where the shop just doesnt know better and their solution is just add a spacer. The problem with the spacer on top of a spacer is the one that came with your zone lift has an angle correcting top hat spacer. So adding the additional spacer is called lift stacking and is a HUGE NO nO in the independent front suspension world (IFS) Look how many threads are exposed on the bottom picture. These coilovers are set to 0.
Why they screwed you is now you have no measurement to start from. If you look at the installation instructions they would tell you that the coil over come preset at 2" or 3" etc. That would allow a base measurement (starting point) Now they turned them all the way to nothing and there is no base measurment

No worries, hoping it was just a simple mistake and they’ll be good about fixing it! :)
I exchanged messages with Javier earlier today an @Quick_Shifter saw the messages ... he said he did add the extra spacer to level it but that he was going to fix it with a custom spacer? Did you know about that?

Regardless, @Quick_Shifter had me pass him some info on what to do, remove the spacer crank up the coil overs and done !!! ... Why he didn't do that from the get go both @Quick_Shifter and I asked each other that question ....

But you now know what should be done and I would just have him do what @Quick_Shifter advised you to do and he should have no problem doing so ...

I apologize @bankr for this because I got you to come down form Long Beach to my trusted shop ... Please keep us updated on the outcome .. I am sure Javier will message me about what happened later on ....

@Quick_Shifter did he ever update you on what happened with his lift kit from the shop I go to? Did they fix it?
Yes we talked the entire process. They removed the lift stacked wonky install. There was no such thing as a "custom" spacer. The scratched up strut mounts and parts sold for the same price as the proper parts wasn't good enough for my liking. He did take it to a few other shops to get it checked out. I caught 3-4 more issues that we resolved as well.

There was popping sounds in the front, the wiring harness was not put back on the studs. The inside of the strut bucket was scratched to death. I called a bds dealer that was closer to his house as I wanted to get a tech to send me some measurements and check other things that’s beyond just snapping a picture. All the small things don’t compare to the lift stacking on something that has an adjustable coil over. That still boggles my mind. A few turns on the coilover while in the truck would have easily dialed the truck in.

But didn't they get the shorter coilovers ?

They installed coilovers for the 2.5” lift. Then took all the preload out of the (hence the front end clunking) then I believe they put a spacer for a 4” kit. When it came out low they stacked another 2” leveling kit on top of the 4” spacer and the negative plus 2 coil overs. It was the worst I’ve seen in awhile
