I have a 2020 2500 Tradesman 4x4 with 6.7 Cummins. Ive had an issue with a popping noise coming from the front end when the truck takes certain jolts from potholes or dips in road. its not constant but sounds like something is loose and its not specific to one side. i took it to local Ram dealer and they said it was just the bump stop bottoming out. Dont know why that would be because its not that hard a jolt or dip most times. Any ideas? i also just leveled the truck, but was having issue before i did that.

My 2021 2500 gas doesn't like deep dips either, especially at 50 mph or higher. It makes quite a thump when you hit them. The front end really does seem to react poorly to them, even with heavy tires and the Bilstein shocks and off road package. I think it is a normal function of the design and not something loose.

@WEEZY1 have you drove solid front axle vehicles before? let alone one that's really nose heavy? CTD packs an extra 800 lbs over the front axle.

Same truck. Mine does this too. I have had it at the dealer twice and each time they find nothing. It's a distinct "pop" sound from the front end, its not dull, I am pretty sure it is a bushing as mine does it more when its below freezing. I bought some grease gun needles just need time to get under the truck and start greasing
