I have a question, can any of you tell me if the blue smoke when starting the engine on cold days is normal Ram 1500 2019 classic

How many miles?
You notice any significant amount of oil loss between oil changes?

34,000 miles. I did not notice any oil loss. It only happens when it's cold outside

Does it go away after the truck warms up? Are you sure it’s blue and not white? Does it “smoke” under acceleration?

If it goes away and is more white and you aren’t noticing lower oil levels and it doesn’t happen under acceleration then it’s just condensation from the exhaust system.

I don't care what anyone says, any blue smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe is a bad sign and means your engine is burning oil that is leaking from somewhere and usually into your combustion chamber ...

You might have bad valve guides, piston rings ... something is going on and it is not good ... sorry to burst your bubble but you won't always see big oil loss when it is first starting, so I personally would advise you to have it checked out right away, it could be something really small but that is definitely oil being burned by the engine ....

By work truck a few years ago only did this at startup .. one of the maintenance workers saw it one morning when "he" started it up, he pulled into their garage and with a camera he found out that the piston rings were bad and the valve stem seals where just trashed ....

Don't hesitate or waste time, catch it while it is still early if you just began to notice the blue smoke ....

I'd be willing to bet your valve stem seals are bad and possible piston rings, do a dry and wet compression test.

It would be super rare to have such a new truck / engine have leaky valve stem seals, worn piston rings, etc.

Does this 2019 have a ton of miles or idle hours on it? You're positive it's not just a cloud of water vapor coming out the exhaust?

My 2019 hemi classic seems to burn so clean I don't even see carbon in/around the tailpipe outlet.

Do you run a catch can? I know my 2014 hemi had a lot of oil blow by. Enough build up could cause this on a cold start. Nissan titans have a big problem with it.
