Trying to get some answers for my ordered 2022. All I want to do is adjust tire size and tpms thresholds. What options will be available? I do have alpha obd and a bypass harness on my 18.

I just wanted tire size and tpms on my 21, went with Procal Snap. Simple and inexpensive.

do you need a bypass or anything for that? That's probably what I'll do more than likely then. Unless my alpha will work on the 22.

The AEV web site says:
"Please be aware that due to the current global chip shortage, AEV ProCal Modules are temporarily unavailable for individual sale but are still available as part of AEV’s DualSport Suspension Systems. As chip manufacturers ramp-up production in the coming months, we expect the ProCal Module to once again be available for individual sale."

If you don’t want any other bells and whistles, buy Procal Snap. Easy install, easy to follow instructions.

Yes, bypass cable is included. It’s a simple install. FYI I think AEV advised of issues with the SNAP and new trucks a while back, I think it was only the 12” screen models. I have the 8.4” and it works perfectly. Not sure if that’s still a problem.

My power wagon was the truck aev used to figure out the issue they had with the snap on 2020 power wagons. It ended up being a simple fix. i live next to aev r&d and when they found i had a 2020 they asked to borrow it. It ended up being a simple reprogramming of the snap device as it turned out it was actually the release speed of the brake pedal causing the problem Not the screen size.

If you go with the Bypass Harness you already have you will need to shave off the Small Key way on the Green Plug to fit in the connection. Reach out to Jimmy07.

Sounds good. if I go with the AEV one I'm guessing I won't. I'll take it off anyways. No sense in giving the dealer any more stuff than I have to. As is i I need to let them keep my fox rear shocks. could not get that bad boy off. They were used when I got them anyways and they are just 2.0 non resi ones. Still sucks. got all the Thuren goodies off today though.

Is there now an alternative to the 3 aforementioned programmers, or are there any expected in the near future?

Two day's ago I ordered and received the Tazer RAM. This is the best programmer for me as I can reverse some of the ridiculous "nannies" that the PW has designed into it.
As long as you keep it plugged in, right?

Hey question. Why do we not need a pin for the new generation for alpha obd?
