Does anyone have any advice, tricks or special tools they use to reach the spark plugs closest to the driver. I think that's cylinder #7 but not sure. It appears being double-jointed might help but... I'm not.

I searched youtube videos but they all change plugs on the passenger side... which appears to be the easy side.

Thanks.

Thanks Wild One... that's what I was looking for. I knew I'd need some sort of swivel but didn't want to use one that would separate (socket from extension) and then have the grief of trying to fish it out.

Cheers.

I always went for the hardest to reach plug first. That way the job is all downhill after that.

Another member just asked the same question in the engine and performance section. Had to check and see if it was the same person asking twice. Top side creeper for the rear plugs or as it was mentioned in that thread maybe going through the wheel well. It’s not a difficult job to do really with basic tools but that swivel socket would help for sure.

If you have a short little 1.5" or 1.75" extension,it also makes things a little easier. It's not really needed, but does help on a couple of the plugs.

I finally broke down and bought the swivel for my last plug change and there's absolutely no reason to not have it. It makes a world of difference.
