As of 2015, there are a number of vehicle tires made in the United States: B.F Goodrich, Bridgestone/Firestone, Cooper, Goodyear, Dunlop, Kelly-Springfield, Titan Tire and Yokohama Tire.

I’ve been quite happy with the Nitto Terra Grappler G2. Works well in wet roads and also quiet.

Hey I got my SRAs with my truck in 15 just replaced them with my brothers spare set of duratracs. Run bald tires in Maine in the winter it’s a good time.

Based on the picture of the tread I agree they are very different and quite a bit more aggressive. Still not near as aggressive as a Duratrac but far better than th Firestone AT.

As far as OEM tires being poor cousins to the factory ones sold by dealers that is well known and has been true for decades. OEM tires are built to the lowest price point possible. I never pay for upgraded oem tires but in this case I had to to get 18" rims instead of 20s. Up here off road tires in 20 inch are expensive, hard to come by and tread choice is really limited.
Duratrac are so loud it literally sounds like you have multiple wheel bearing going bad. They suck. XT are quiet aggressive for a daily.

Tires are like brand of oil and filter questions. I'll jump in here. I have run AT TOYO's on my wife's 2010 F150. On MY 19 RAM, I run Falken Wildpeak's. Did real well in weather, lost about 1 mpg: Now I am running 18" "C" rated on MY 19 Bighorn, did not need "E" rated, not pushing/towing that kind of weight. All IMHO...

ADDED: A lot of folks run Michelin Defenders. I just happen to like Falkens or Toyo's.

My 2019 classic is needed new 20” tires and I’m happy to say the the crummy Goodyear crap is finally warn out. Good riddance.

Anyway I want an all terrain tire and I’ve been looking at the B F Goodrich Trail Terrain. It’s apparently pretty new and I’m not able to get many reviews on it.

Is anyone running these tires?? Good or bad??
Discount tire pathfinder a /t. Best tires you can find. Third truck with these on, TrueType great.

The Firestone Destination XT's are different than the AT's. I have the XT's on my 3500 and they're excellent in snow. And they are wearing just fine. Two totally different tires...only time I had to put my truck in 4WD was when the snow was deep on the roads and they hadn't plowed yet. Short of running a dedicated snow tire on these trucks, the XT tires are an excellent choice.

The Trail Terrains are different than the BFG AT's. Different tire too.
Goodrich rugged terrain are pretty damn good also.

BFG Trail terrains are good but not aggressive . I went with the GoodYeaR Ultra Terrain All terrains in a 20” and they have work well . 27 k and not even half worn . They were great in snow and ice in Colorado on a trip . Some places didn’t even need 4x4 because they gripped well

I have these as well. On the truck when I bought it with 31k, close to brand new at that time. I think they do drop mpg 1-2 based on my mileage but great handling in wet and snowy conditions.

Just had a set of achilles desert hawk at2 installed this morning. Went with a 275/65r20. Immediately felt a noticeable difference in turning, felt more responsive. Going to attribute that to the e-rated tire and stiffer sidewall (3 ply instead of 2). They're pretty aggressive, not as aggressive as the general atx or ko2. They have a supposed 65k mile treadwear warranty, and at 199.99 a tire, I couldn't say no. So far they seem to be as smooth as the goodyears, little bit of a hum on the highway, but quieter than the atx I ran before. I've only got about 30 miles on them so far, but so far, first impressions are positive.

I switched over to the Pirelli Scorpion all terrain plus. I'm very satisfied with them, will purchase again when the time comes.

I went with the GY Trailrunners because I heard a lot of people say the same thing. The other complaint was a 1-2 mpg loss. The Fortitudes are their highway tire and the Duratracs were aggressive tread off-road tire. The Trailrunners have a mix of both characteristics.

I traded my old 28ft trailer about 5 years ago. It was January and there was over a foot of snow in the field. I hooked up my truck (expedition at that time) and pulled it out with the trailrunners. Pretty impressed with them.
