I recently finished the first mod on my PW. Borla S-Type Catback Exhaust. It looks and sounds much better than stock!

Installation was easy...it helps when all the fasteners are new! Much better tone compared to stock and no drone on the highway at all. I haven't towed yet with it but I assume it will be fine.

Here are 3 videos

Cold Start - https://youtu.be/kv6hlcQEfek
Warm Idle - https://youtu.be/SpxmrtvqowM
Warm Running w Throttle - https://youtu.be/sY4BCvCI5dg

Is it a whole lot louder than stock? Seems noticeably louder but my ears can’t really tell judging by the video.

I just did this myself a week ago. If your familiar with Flowmaster Super 40's, it's halfway between stock and the Super 40 on the noise scale. It is throateyer and does have more rumble on startup and when you step into it while driving down the road with no drone when cruising at 3K or below. Personally I wish it was a little deeper and louder, but overall I'm happy. As another side note, between the Borla and the S&B CAI, I increased my MPG 2 whole miles!

interesting that they say it'll only work with trucks up to 2018. Gibson is the same way. Debating whether or not to go with gibson or this setup. gibson is a bit cheaper.

At cold start it's much louder but once it warms up a bit it isn't as loud. At highway speed I don't even notice I have exhaust. Duratracs in the winter howl loud enough to drown it out

Go with whatever option you think works best for your situation. Gibson is a great company too. I went with Borla because it was easier to get here in Canada. I'm pretty sure my local performance shop screwed up on the pricing because they only charged my $730CDN, which is around $585USD.

Hey quick question borla guys. Is the angle of departure so to speak adjustable at all on the exhaust? With my Gibson it exited downwards so I was able to slide the tip up a bit and not have it as exposed. Looks good I think.
