I’m not 100% sure, but I’ve been rebuilding this truck that has been sitting for 3 years so it has all new O2 sensors, checked for vacuum leaks with both carb cleaner method and a smoke machine at the intake manifold, only smoke I get is from the small hole on the back of the Egr valve which I’m assuming is normal since the old one does the same thing. I noticed that voltages before and after the cats are almost the same so I’m not sure if that means the cats are no good or not. Also noticed my long term fuel trims go way to -10, but then other times they are closer to 0. Haven’t gotten to temp gun before and after the cats yet. Not sure what else I can check without a real scanner. PCV valve is alll new along with evap purge solenoid, gas cap, leak detection pump, spark plugs, smoked the evap system for leaks also with nothing found other then smoke from the breather by the driver side of the transmission that runs back to leak detection pump. So really running out of ideas at this pointAre you sure the cats are bad? I'd verify that before replacing them.
