I have a 2015 Ram 5.7L and Looking too replace my throttle body and was wondering what is best too use. The one I am interested in is a 87mm. Can I use this without tuning it. I plan on doing a tuner at a later date, which I will probably bump it too a bigger on that requires tuning.

I actually just found a BBK 90mm that says it does not require any tuning. I am gonna give that a try.

Lots of reports on the 6.4 car boards where the BBK doesn't pan out. The stock 92 mm Hellcat TB and adapter is a better option then the BBK 90 mm.But in your case you don't need a bigger throttle body, that's the last mod to do,after you have long tubes /cam and ported 6.4 manifold in place. FYI the 6.4 SRT's use the exact same 251 casting throttle body,so a basically stock 5.7 isn't going to gain anything with a bigger or ported throttle body. The money you'll spend on a aftermarket or ported throttle body, would be better spent by putting towards a 6.4 manifold swap

what kind of works involved in this 6.4 manifold swap?do the injectors need to be switched to the 6.4 ones as well?

Nope the 5.7 injectors with a spacer is what you want to use if you're basically a bolt on truck.Search CrazyKids posts,Khris has a write up on his swap.Dilligaff is another one to hunt up,as Ian's also running a 6.4 intake on his truck.

Edit:You beat me to it Ian,i was just telling him to hunt you up,lol
