They all have it. When the thumping starts roll your window down. It will stop when the window gets to about half way. Roll it back up and it will start again.

It’s the ANC system gone whack. You need to take it to a dealer. Have them verify and then they will order a new amp for you. Which is currently on backorder.

If you can’t stand the thumping then there are posts on here about how to disconnect the ANC mics which essentially turns off the ANC system and stops the thumping.
I told my dealer that when I unplug my amp the noise will stop so they order me another amp but like you said it's on backorder. If you like myself I have the alfabod I went and using the alfaobd "NOT ENABLE" the ANC feature for now but I haven't drove it since I change it.

I’m hesitant to mess with Alfa while having warranty issues. They can see when changes are made. Not that they would call anyone out. For now I just unplugged the mic wires.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that maybe I better put my back like it was, thank you. So how do you unplugged the mic wires and is it working, are their six or four of them?

There are 4 sets so 8 total. Follow this write up.

Just make sure to take pics so you can plug them back in before you go in for the new amp.

Okay, so did that work for you, the reason I ask is that I order the wire harness that you can plug in your amp and the wire harness it will bypass those mic wires so you don't have to pull those wires out? I bought that and I still had that thumping noise so I call the company and he told me that if I had the Karmin 17 speaker system I want work, now unless it does it differently.

Here: https://lljcustoms.com/products/2018-2022-jeep-dodge-ram-llj-anc-bypass

Do you know anything about this then?

But right now I'm game for whatever work and I will take a look at it and try it, I cancel my dealer appointment for the 2nd because all they were going to do is to look at my check engine light but I told them that I don't have that any longer.

Just unplug that white harness going to the amp under your seat and go for a drive. If the thumping stops then it’s ANC. Sometimes the bypass cables don’t work. In that instance you need to unplug the wires. If it’s an ANC issue then I guarantee unplugging the wires will stop the thumping.

I looked at that plug you listed. It says all Ram trucks with no sub. Since you have H/K system it won’t work for you. After you have your appointment for the thumping then unplug your wires while you wait for the new amp.

Ohhhh, okay you're right I should try that soon the dealer told me that it will be a few months before they will get it in, they on backorder so I printed out everything I need to do this so I will be pulling those wires. Thanks again.

HEY, guys I think that I might have find what's going on here, I hope I did send them to the dealer so they can look at this I took better pictures with my phone and I hope that you guys can see it but a few of the wires are exposed that goes inside the plug going to the amp. Sometimes when I even open my driver side door I will hear a little kraken noise, not a lot but just enough for me to hear it. Check out these pictures I try to take better pictures but it was hard to take them, because the plug that goes to the amp is under the dash.DSCN4181.JPGDSCN4182.JPGDSCN4184.JPGDSCN4185.JPGDSCN4186.JPGDSCN4187.JPGDSCN4188.JPGDSCN4189.JPG

I see the exposed wires. Very weird to see that on a new truck. If we hadn’t already been talking I would have guessed that you did that by trying to take the wires out. However, I know you didn’t do it because of our conversation.

Other thing I’m noticing, it looks like the wires that are bare are not the ANC wires. The ANC are the 4 top and bottom next to the large red wire.

Possibly, trying to figure out if truck has it...or not...

On the HDs, it shuts off if you roll down the window. So that's one method if figuring it out. Or look up. There are a handful of microphones in the headliner. I know there are at least 4, again in the HDs.
