Hello everyone. Just took delivery of a new 2022 Rebel GT, Billet silver/black. I am coming out of a 2017 Black/black RAM sport night package with the Hemi 5.7. I enjoyed 65,000 trouble free miles on the 2017 RAM.
I must say I am amazed at the improvements in this new generation truck. Smooth and quiet, powerful and athletic, this new truck has a presence and level of refinement that FAR surpasses my 2017. To be fair, the MSRP was substantially higher on the new truck. 2017 MSRP $54,000. 2022 MSRP $72,500. I was initially going to order another black truck. At the last minute, I decided to go Billet silver with the blacked out front and wheels and I could not be happier. The new vehicle looks fantastic! The smoothness pulling away from a stop and during shifts is incredible with the e-torque. The GT package has some very nice touches in the interior, and the Cat back exhaust combined with the cold air intake has a deep refined growl under acceleration while remaining perfectly quiet at cruising speeds.
The truck is scheduled for ceramic tint all around, a set of mopar TRX rock rails, a BAK Flip X4s tonneau cover, a Hellwig sport sway bar and a YETI Tundra 75 hard cooler.
The new vehicle has just 125 miles on the odometer. I am looking forward to much good conversation and friendship here at the forum.
