I have a question I got a good deal on a set of basic leather seats for my son's truck only problem is he the brackets don't line up too short he needs the long bracket only the front two bolts line up. Also when u put the seats in on the retaining hooks the seats don't close or open completely. The seats were from a wrecked truck which the guy brought the seats but never used he can remember what truck it was from so we are stuck front seats r fine, any help would be appreciated will have pics later on today, can they be bolted to the frame for support

Confused by the title. Quad and CC will be totally different seat mounting configurations.

In terms of the retaining hooks that latch onto the "D" rings on the rear cab wall, you'll want to do the "seat mod", where you trim the hooks on the seat backs, so you can fold the seat backs down with a slight lift of the seat bottoms if you want to.

let me try to explain we have a 2016 SLT which had the full bench seat in the back the leather seat brackets are 14" long and the old bench seat brackets are 17" long and he holes don't match up see pics attached can we swap them so that they bolt down or do we bolt them to the frame its a work/daily driver which we don't plan on getting rid of so any help would do as to how to proceed maybe even have ap a piece fabicrated just to bolt it down hope this helps or someone can lead us in a good direction don't really want to go back to the cloth seat

We were going to try the use the old bench seat brackets but don’t know if they would work all we need is the seats to be securely bolted in place don’t need folding or anything fancy

My guess is you have seat for a quad cab, I do not know if you can change the brackets or make a spacer for the Leather seat Brackets to extend them !
Sorry I am no help ,I thought a gear Head would chime in already !
Do you have a body shop near you that may be able to help ?
Hopefully someone can tell you how wide a Quad Cab seat bracket is, I will measure mine but still raining ! SO if rain stops I will measure tomorrow, I may beabole to find the size online,
Good luck

FOUND this site , They sell seat brackets ,give them a shout. FYI I never used them or know anything about them

Great hope it works out for you. I could not find any more info.. Good luck and if you would ,Do a Step by step on what you did as someone else may do the same thing
A wider fab bracket would sit under the seat bracket and bolt right in I would think . Pictures of the bracket as well please ! Thanks

Ok here we go I transferred the long brackets from my removed bench seat on some quad rear seats this is what I did.

1. I removed the brackets from our removed full bench seat literally 3 screws on the side u have to roll the seat cover up a bit and access the 3rd screw.

2. I removed the small bracket from our donor seats and put it to the side concentrating on the donor seats first

3. I unhooked the seat cover from the back of the quad seat to access the screws

4. Bolted the longer bracket onto to the donor rear 40/seat all the holes lined up perfectly, snapped seat hinge into right position and all worked as it should

Got dark so decided to call it a day will bolt down tomorrow and see if everything lines up and works I will keep u guys posted.
As u can see it fits almost perfect if it work as it should we will be ecstatic going to do the other side tomorrow after work and then install on the weekend and take pictures, so far so good!

Ok guys all done got up this morning with my son and we finished the seat swap into his truck see pics attached, the trick was the brackets, so yes u can take rear seat from a quad cab ram and install them in a crew cab all u have to do it exchange the brackets from ur old crew cab which are 17" long to ur new seats with brackets which are 14" long then install on problem what's so ever, job complete and looks fantastic! Any questions just ask, note:
They only brackets u need to exchange are the outer 2 brackets so that u can bolt the seats down to the outer back holes a little blue locktite and ur done

I just bought my RAM 1500 crew cab and it looks like I have the same seats. I'm just now noticing that the guy I bought it from didn't put the correct brackets on the back seats. The brackets only line up to two holes, not all 4. Also, it appears only 2 of the bolts for the seatbelt buckles are accessible. Can you link me the brackets you bought to convert the quad seat to fit in the crew cab?
