I just realized I don't have the crap needed to get my spare out. I got the scissor jack and no handle, no nothing. How specific are the tools needed to this truck?
If it matters, '12 SLT reg cab longbed.

Funny....Same thing happened to me with my wife's Jeep about 2 months ago. Purchased brand-new. Went to change a flat and no handle....The Jeep has the tire in a compartment, so I didn't need it to lower the spare like on our trucks, but still pissed me off. I had a bottle jack in my truck luckily.

Smart!! Me thinks you might be the only guy who does that

I was heading out to Moab on a long family vacation (summer of 2020), and realized 3 days before setting sail ..same thing: no jack or any spare tire tools in our H3 (bought used). Picked up something at a salvage yrd in a pinch. Bought the 'right stuff' after I returned. Luckily never needed it ... If you can buy the Dorman lug wrench and extensions in that link for $22, that's a pretty good deal.

At a salvage yard people will often grab a jack, but not the tools, or vice versa ..then you waste a lot of time hunting down handles and a jack that have the same connection style (a 'hook' in your case).
