Is there any difference in a 2022 6"4 bed between a 1500 and a 2500? Trying to get a undercover hard cover but the one I want is only available for a 1500.

Classic or 5th gen 1500? The 2500 has a 4th gen style bed.

2022 1500 vs 2022 2500.

Doesn't answer the question, for 2022 they make the 1500 in the classic (DS) 4th gen platform (been around since 2009) as well as the 1500 (DT) 5th generation (been around since 2019) new body style. So we need to know if the cover is for a DS classic or new body style DT. Or if they have both options just buy the one for the classic DS model.

I'm getting it for a bighorn.
On the 1500, the DS body trucks have 5 lug wheels, they match the HD trucks.
The 1500 DT body truck wheels have 6 lug wheels and do not line up with the HD trucks.
Look to see if the cover you want is available for the '18 model year, that is the DS body and will fit the HD trucks

You can't get a Big Horn classic, so he's talking about a DT. In that case, as mentioned already, the DT bed and the 2500 bed are not the same.

That's true it looks like they dropped bighorn for 2022 classic (maybe 2021 as well but I swear they made bighorns in classics for 2019/20?) so safe to assume he has a 5th gen and the cover won't line up perfectly.

They made Big Horn Classic for sure in 2019. You might be right about 2020, although it seems like they stopped after 2019. But definitely not for 2021 and 2022. Tradesman, Express, and Warlock were and are the only options for a 1500 Classic for the last two model years.

Sounds about right, thanks for the clarification as always!

They want so badly to change over to the new body style, but they just can't do it as long as they get so many orders for the DS body style.
The biggest selling DS was the Bighorn & now they took it away
