Not gonna touch this one.1. Included with the Big Horn trim package should be a Big Truck(or train) horn.
I do agree with ya here but on the contrary, I like that my rear bumper doesn’t scream ugly-ass work truck with those two eyesore corner dents and that you should be happy- at least I2. No corner step built into the rear bumper. Shouldn't have to go aftermarket for this. GM figured it out 2 gens ago. For crying out loud even Hyundai has them on it's baby pickup.
am, that you can go to the aftermarket and add that kick step that does a much better job, I might add, so that you have a step but it folds up under the truck outta the way and doesn’t screw with the exterior look of the truck.
I’ve said this once already to someone either in this thread or the other one just like it; yes, we’re blessed with two of these discussions concerning the same exact thing- but uh, these trucks….if I’m not mistaken, still come to this day with an option to have an ancient disc player so um, if you obviously wanted one that bad then why didn’t you buy a truck that had one? Whatever the reason is for not buying a better-equipped truck that more closely fit your needs, you can probably just simply buy the player, the other plastic tray piece with the cut-out for it and plug it right in. Don’t quote me on this but you might already have the wiring harness installed under the center console just waiting to be used. I’d check it out.3. Lack of CD player(I WILL get over this, eventually, says my therapist).
Sometimes you gotta read that sticker a little closer because it might show certain things you have but not actually have but just to end the confusion, you do have the nicer of the two radios, right, with the bigger screen? Or no? But without getting too much into this part even if you are actually in fact supposed to have that factory sub or not, you’re really not missing anything. If you want some good noticeable bass to compliment the system, you’re much better off going aftermarket on that straight up. There’s been a few on here that I’ve seen that have just replaced that factory speaker with one from Pioneer that you can get from Crutchfield that say is a pretty good upgrade from stock but before I bought my big ole full-width, JL Audio Stealthbox that came pre-loaded with two 300-watt 10” subs and a matching 600 watt JL Audio amp made for that enclosure, I went that route and not even a half hour after installing it, I was on the phone with Crutchfield setting up the return. Even though it had a harder hit, it was quieter probably because it was made to handle more power but either way, the cost of that speaker was way more than how much it helped so, I returned it and went that other route.4. Missing the factory underseat subwoofer. Window sticker says it should be there, My fault for not noticing during inspection at the dealer.
But hey, if you still want that factory sub that much, I could sell you the one that came outta my truck for pretty cheap if you want it. It’s pretty much as brand new as it can be because it was only under my rear seat for about 4 months after I bought it brand new. Hit me up in a PM if you’re interested.
I can understand that but as far as I’m concerned about it when it comes to all the hate directed at the rotary dial shifter, I think primarily the reason why it’s so hated is because so many people either can’t or don’t want to figure it out.As for all the hate directed at the rotary shifter, I would have preferred a floor or center console mounted T-Handle like my GMC Jimmy had but I'm ok with the dial. Column shifters are great, if you want to feel like you're driving an early 80's Chevy Square body, or if you're ACTUALLY driving that classic Big 10 Chevy, but imo not so much on a modern pickup.
