Well..I'm sure Ram doesn't care....running 11.6 miles to the gallon on my V6. When I bought the truck, free oil changes, free car when I'm getting serviced. So far none is true. Can't wait for my lease to be up. I took a chance and I got burned. I shouldn't have to work this hard to get my truck fixed...Oh yeah the truck that I paid big bucks for so you could have a job telling me "your so sorry". What a joke........

Hi,
As the social engagement team, we rely on the knowledge of our dealer network in order to address any technical concerns or questions. We recommend reaching out to your local dealer for additional assistance. Please know that our team would be more than happy to provide an additional layer of assistance if you do end up connecting with your dealer. What we can do is escalate a case on your behalf so that one of our Case Specialists could work alongside your dealer to find a potential solution to the concerns you’re currently experiencing.

Every time I contact the dealer, it's 4-6 weeks out to get it in. I ask them, will you have a car for me, their answer, "we don't know, We ill see that day". I don't know how your life is, but I drive my truck, it's my main vehicle. One reason I went with this is because they have a vehicle for me, so they claim. So tell me, if this was your car, would you wait that long to maybe get a car? Would YOU be happy with how this is being handled? Can't wait to call my employer that evening when I drop it off and tell them I won't be able to come in, I have no car!!!

Hi,
We are very sorry to hear that. Some dealers have more open time available than others. Our customer care team can help make an appointment on your behalf. Please use the phone number below if this would be of interest.

Hi,
We are on the same team as Chrysler Cares. We would be happy to look into this for you again. Feel free to reach out to us here or Chrysler on Facebook or Twitter.

Crackling paint on the interior of the drivers door. Hard to see in pictures; but easy to hear in video (turn on volume).

What do I do now?

Don't waste your time Ram Forums members. We're never got the help from @RamCares we needed, and we'll never get the help in the future until there's a change in senior management. We're interacting with a level so low in the company it's literally called "Social Engagement". Filled with scripted answers that as we know don't provide first or even second hand solutions.
@RamCares filled the "Social Engagement" chair with a new person. "Social Engagement" job is to give lip-service to everyone's complaints. All we'll read is; "Write to this address ... ", "Contact us at ... ", and "Dealer will ... " etc, etc.
Did ANYONE get an answer from posting about their issues? Did @RamCares ever provide a solution that got or gave a remedy to our posted problems? I went back and looked at all of them ... NO ONE DID.

And they won't ... because they're only about "Social Engagement" - they will post what great jobs they are doing with updates and new releases - making a few people feel like Chrysler/Ram/Jeep gave them something. But it's just lip service for "new" and zero for existing issues.

No offence to this new guy ... you're following the script Chrysler/Ram/Jeep gave you. You're not at fault for our angry posts, they're not really "at you" ... they're at Chrysler/Ram/Jeep - and we hate them for it. Sadly for you (truly, I feel for your position), we NEVER get answers. Just things to do that NEVER EVER give us solutions or remedies.

If you want to know how horribly Chrysler/Ram/Jeep's "Social Engagement Team" fails us ... surf back through any @RamCares posts, look at the Q & A posts and you'll see how they never end in a positive post from the Member to @RamCares.
So that you don't waste your time with this exercise (in the way @RamCares gives us things to do that are fruitless), let me save you some time ... there isn't one positive post of thanks. NOT ONE!

Your predecessor couldn't do it, you won't either ... and please take this last line to heart:

I don't blame you .. I blame Chrysler/Ram/Jeep for making a "Social Engagement Division" that can't offer direct help to the person they're "engaging" with.

I can agree with a lot of that. I actually didn’t really want to buy another Ram because their dealers generally have been terrible and the company is owned by someone new so often I don’t think they even know where they are going or where they have been. I never even got someone to call me back. Don’t even get me started on this “solution” to 3G retirement for Uconnect either.

Today is 17-April.

@RamCares is RamDosen'tGiveADamn. 100k corrosion warranty is worthless; two hoods, and a door that the paint is failing on. Did Chrysler not prime anything properly? Reminds me of the 90s.

corrosion warranty does not cover paint

To file a corrosion warranty complaint, your Chrysler products must have a corroded HOLE through the metal

The '90's?
Chrysler paint problems go back to the late '70's with their silver.
Knew someone who bought a new Chrysler Cordoba, silver, and in two years the paint was peeling off everywhere.
They weren't the only ones. All silver.

Not completly true - TSB 31-001-18 specifically covers paint bubbling.

@RamCares regarding the DS SABIC Inflator recall my Ram Toolbox app is still showing that this recall is incomplete (which is correct) however it is showing that parts are available whereas all dealers in my area are telling me parts are absolutely not available for this recall. Might not be a front burner issue but shouldn't take more than a few minutes of someone's time to go in and change the lingo on the app.

While the sheet metal, ( fenders, hood, doors, tailgate & body ), are going though assembly they get completely submerged in a vat of some kind of anti corrosion fluid, just after getting a power wash.

This video has been shortened, but it shows a lot of the assembly, they are building 5TH Gen Rams

Drag Link Safety Recall - Kit Authorization.. How do I get Ram Cares to authorize my dealer to install the recall kit? I do not want them to weld the nuts. I have loctite and torque-striped the nuts so I can see if they move. But I want to get it fixed and signed off once and for all. I've got a 2018 3500 CTD CCLB and purchased the extended warranty

Huh. Wondering how this system works. You're clearly here. You can't be mute. I'm sure you're not blind (but the person who put the paint on my vehicle clearly was).

I'm pretty amazed, actually. You skirt responsibility more so than the Justin, the GM at Caldwell Dodge, where me and my family have been patrons since 1990.

Now I know where he learned it from!
