Was driving around with my girlfriend soon to be fiancé (shhhh) and we looking for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee or Jeep Wrangler for her. We came across Expressway Ram in Evansville Indiana. After searching some of the new 2022 trucks we went to a couple other lots that they have, it’s a big dealer ship. We were looking around and I saw this beast. $68,000 she likes the truck. She said I would buy this for you if you want. I was like wow!!!!! We are actually looking for a house then a truck later.

It was a Ram 2022 Laramie Night Edition.

So, new house, new truck for you and still looking for a new vehicle for her, if I understand this right. That sounds like one really big mountain of debt for a newly wed couple. Biggest cause of divorce is not infidelity, it is money problems. Not trying to rain on your pararade but unless you are sitting on a pile of cash I would suggest thinking this through a little more.

It might be a couple years before it happens. We aren’t doing it right away. We both make pretty good money. She’s a travel nurse and makes a lot of money. I work 70+ hours a week. Thank you for the heads up and concern.

It will be held over your head forever, that She bought You the truck. Best have a pretty damn big ring for her.

Financially, as mentioned……. Save for the house, spin it around and tell her you really appreciate the offer, but think it would be the best for you ‘both’ and your ‘family’ to put the money towards a house. Shows financial responsibility, that your thinking of you both, planning ahead and what’s best for ‘the family’.

Also, you’ll never have a leg to stand on if she goes out and spends some serious money on herself…wheither you agree with it or not. Your balls are hers, lol.

If you’d been married for say… 10 years, then jump on the Ram

Go for the truck. If you leave her the truck stays.If she leaves you the truck stays with her.So what the heck? Right?
Another thing,the same thing applies to the house.
Of course I have been called a pessimist tho.
I'm actually an optimist,as I'm optimistic that everything will fail sooner or later! Lol. You're a lucky man...a generous girl and a truck.

Shes a Chevy fan and I told her I would buy a Ford F-150 before a Chevy lol.
