Frankly the mention of the "war" is a bit of a sore spot for me. I was planning a trip to Kiev in May to visit someone special I have been talking to online for a couple of years. Now I'm just worried about her safety.I remain hopeful that this war is almost over. There is speculation that Putin has some sort of health issue (cancer) and that he is on steroids because of that (causing his puffy face and he looked very weak/fragile in that one pic posted on the 'net few days ago). There is also talk of him being replaced, and lets face it his army is not much of an army at this point, morale is near bottom as well. Their economy is tanking and they can't keep this war going for much longer.
Hopefully their nuke program is gutted, I don't think you get to threaten Europe/NATO with nukes and live to tell the story. Nukes always been there in the background, no words being spoken with MAD, it was just implied. Far as I know this is the first time they've actually threatened (with words). But in any case, I can't see how Russia doesn't get worked over after this is all done.
IMO, all this is was planned from the start by the ones who will have the most to gain from this.. China.
Anyways.. that enough about that.. back to the engine. I'm not sure that I would want a truck without a V8. The good news is that this leaves room for V8 swaps and stuff like our hotrods and muscle cars.
I'm not hater of EVs. I just don't think that it is the best solution for the future. I like doing road trips and the idea of standing in one place for 30 minutes to charge every 300 miles, isn't really enough.
