We had snow in our forecast which is hard to believe. I wake up early so I can let my employees know if we're working or not. Since I have cameras in my driveway I just went to live view and we have about 5in lol. This is the most snow we had all winter so far. Wish this crap weather would go away lol. We hit 75deg 3 weeks ago now snow thanks oregon.View attachment 490923
We're near Medford, Oregon and just got a light dusting yesterday. Not enough to stick. Low hills around town have a bit of snow accumulation.

Agree, yesterday they were forecasting temps in the low 60's this weekend, now will be lucky to be mid 50's guess I'll have to wait to replace tomato plants that were crushed in the wet snow yesterday :(

I have seen snow here the odd year in July and August, snow in April is an every year occurrence.:)
Do you live at a high elevation? Never heard of snowfalls in those months in non mountainous locations in the lower 48 states. But if you have a Ram 4X4 it doesn’t matter… you can go thru anything!

I am not in the lower 48, I live in Canada. You don't need mountains to get snow here in the summer.;)

Back 20+ years ago we had blizzard in south Saskatchewan in mid May that buried my tractor and drills .
Wind is the problem
Last blizzard this winter a fellow got lost in his yard and froze .

Yeah, the blowing snow is the worst part. Sometimes you get caught in it and you can't see the edges of the road or barely past the hood, but can't stop because the guy behind you will plow into you really through no fault of his own. White knuckle for sure.

I'm in a hilly area but not mountains by any means, in upstate NY and we can definitely get snow in April or May. I can definitely say several times in the last 19 years (since I got my 66 buick and always itching to get it out by this time of the year) that we've gotten April snow up to and including near blizzard amounts, and I know we've also gotten a few decent storms in May in that timeframe as well.

Certainly hoping I didn't just jinx myself considering it was in the 70s yesterday but back down into the 50s today. Last month or two has been a rollercoaster of temps in single digits or teens and snow storms one day, 50-60s the next day or so, back to cold and some snow after that and repeat several times. Our roads are looking fantastic! Probably best I don't drive that old Buick for now I suppose.

I would show you guys our weather but you would probably get mad at me. Today at 3;30pm temperature reads
90 degrees but feels like 96. in the 80's all winter this year except for a few days here and there in January it dropped down in the low 40's . believe it or not I scrapped my windows this year with a credit card when it dropped down that cold. Originally from Minnesota so I don't miss that one bit... I told myself get busy living or get busy dyeing. I moved to Florida to get busy living....Summer year round boys,,, did I forget to mention we have fresh water lakes , the gulf of mexico and the Atlantic....talk about great fishing

oh and No rusty vehicles

Winter definitely gets old but I couldn't do that kind of heat for extended periods either, that's a whole different kind of hell for me. Ideally I'd love the temps to stay between 40-80, I love the cooler days (and fall!) as much as the warmer days, but can't stand really hot and manage the really cold. Also driving my 66 buick without ac is especially brutal over 85 degrees. Our area is one of the gloomiest in the country (lots of overcast days) and I've found when I've gone to nicer places weather wise for a week or two, I can't wait to get home to get back into some overcast days.

Scrapping off ice/snow constantly definitely sucks too, and yeah the toll it takes on vehicles is especially awful up here in the salt/rust belt. I assume down there you just have to watch out for vehicles that were beach driven or used at the boat ramps in case they backed in too deep? I am surely jealous of not having roads caked with salt all winter, makes it real tough to keep them looking nice up here.

Not sure about how this topic relates to RAM. Much of ND has had 10-36" of snow.

So OP why would you even gripe about what you had............

Because it cost my company about 30k in billable work. We're not used to the snow so when it happens we don't work. Want a gold start for living in a snowy state have at it ill give you a cookie to.
