I have no idea. I would probably be taking it to a dealer if it were mine.

Right around 28,500. Yeah they said it was backing out. I've seen similar post on another form that I belong to and they said the same thing. Bad thing is I noticed mine the day I put a lift on my truck and ruined what should've been a great day

Im just waiting for some nicer weather to drop my trans. I had my trans out last year when I put in my Circle D TQ and the rear main looked perfect so I didnt change it.
It ended up biting me in the ass, as I know better. Especially when I had the rear main seal on my workbench !!!
But Im always looking for a reason to drink beers with friends, So its all good .

Leaking rear main was almost mandatory on the old LA small blocks decades ago.
Guess FCA felt they should continue that tradition.

That is simply amazing, how this vehicles leaks so young in their age........unacceptable!

I have same thing going on with my 2021 Ram Hemi with 8,700 miles. Small drips of oil. Still under warranty so I am taking it to dealer.

Yep!!!
One of the reasons I traded in my 19' with 160,000Km's on it was that my rear main just started to leak
Not a small or inexpensive job on a 4x4. Couple that with my next transmission service due, plus a small exhaust leak on the drivers side shorty header just starting to creep in, and other services coming due....
Trade in as I was out of factory warranty.

2021 Ram Warlock 4x4 Hemi - Oil leak with only 8,700 mileage. Took it into dealership under warranty, and they replaced oil pan gasket. I expressed my doubts. Took truck to the carwash and washed off underneath. Now, about a month later I notice a drip of oil. I circled where the drip is on pic. and oil is not running down from anywhere. Wonder if anyone can help before I call dealership. Thanks
