Anyone know how to replace a windshield washer nozzle? The under hood access is limited.

My passenger side washer was dribbling fluid while the driver side was strong.

Figured the nozzle was clogged, but when I opened the hood, fluid drained out from under the insulation cover. Then thought the hose was leaking or disconnected.

Found the plastic hose connector was broken off the nozzle. I’ve ordered replacements and am trying to walk through how to do it.

Appreciate any help.

Alright, if you insist, How do you know? :D

Yep, more than likely, you'll need one or more of those when you start removing the hood cover or other pieces to replace the nozzle because you'll break some during the install.

Super easy job! Same thing happened to me. Both nozzles broke apart one day. My only regret is not getting Mopar nozzles.. My washer sprays pretty well over my windshield and off the sides and they're non adjustable... But oh well. Give me a reason to go through the wash every so often.

Hey all, late to game here. Has anyone used aftermarket adjustable spray nozzles? I had to replace a clogged driver side nozzle and it sprays too high. The dealership says the gen 4 OEM nozzles are not adjustable.
Thanks!

Have you already used a clothes pin and tried to tweak it that way?

I'm a cheapo, and used these and they were totally misadjusted at first, but with a pin I was able to get them adjusted way up and now they work fine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GGLGTF5/

Weird thing is half the reviews say you can't aim them, but I did. My old ones basically crumbled into pieces when removing them, so make sure if that happens that you don't have any plastic debris left in the line.

Hi there, I'm having the same problem and it looks like the solution post is now blank. Can anyone provide insight on how the nozzles themselves are removed? The tubes on both spray nozzles broke away during the last freeze. I've removed the hood insulation and I'm able to get to the nozzles but for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove them from the hood. Any insight is appreciated!

Take a pair of pliers and squeeze them from underneath on the liner side. They'll explode like glass.

When in doubt, use force! Once the parts come in, I'll go for it. Thanks!
