After looking for aftermarket lights over there years, I always saw other brands that were cheaper than Morimoto so it held me off from buying some lights for awhile as I didn't want to spend much on some lights.

I finally bit the bullet, if anyone knows the saying "You get what you pay for", I figured I should go with morimoto for reasons like their amazing warranty, quality and because they've been in the lighting industry for so long. Instead of myself getting a new truck after what I've put into it already, I thought that this is something I'll have for years down the road so why not transform it instead?

I picked up some amber XB LED headlights, smoked XB LED taillights and their XB projector fog lights! Which came in today after placing my order 5 days ago. Unfortunately I could only install my headlights for now though as it started to rain and I don't have a garage, but hopefully tomorrow the weather is better to complete the rest.

Headlights, taillights and fog lights finally installed!

Are they plug and play.
Yeah they're plug and play, I still need to install my DRL harness because I didn't find it until I had the driver side in and found it in the passenger side box (Assumed that maybe it wasn't there, cause it was a more updated version). And when it started raining I had to just keep it as is for now :p

You definitely should consider when you get the chance, I've seen a nice 2019+ pair of these on their site. All the lights I paid for was more than I expected, especially with the custom fees so I'm hoping I won't run into issues.

You should have skipped their fogs and went with the diode dynamics ss3. Their projector fogs are just ok, but the ss3 are roughly the same price and far outperform the xb fogs. Unless, the fogs came with the headlights for free...

Unfortunately they didn't come with the headlights, I didn't do much looking around for fog lights either as I wasn't planning on it till I figured I probably should just to go with the rest of the lights. So I kept it all on the same order to not deal with other shipping fees. Not only that but I personally always liked the look of the projector fogs, which I thought had a reasonable amount of light output.

All the lighting finally installed! I still need to pickup this mini fuse panel adapter for the DRL harness that won't fit in my fuse box. I was confused as to why it didn't fit at first till I emailed morimoto, which they went ahead and shipped an adapter for me but I'll probably have to cancel that if the shipping fees come to 100 dollars for a 15 dollar item that I can buy locally lol

Lights look great. Thanks for sharing the video.
Thanks! And no problem, figured I'd help others out who might be interested in any of the lights by showing visuals. If anyone wants like anymore media on something specific then feel free to ask, I do plan on getting some pictures when I got time to

Hard to go wrong with morimoto. Had different brands in various cars over the years and wouldn’t consider anything else after running these on my last truck. OEM build quality, plug and play, and lasts unlike cheaper versions that leak or fog up.

Your setup looks great. Agree their dogs don’t have the highest output, but bright enough and look great as a matched set!

I had the Morimoto with yellow running lights on my 2015 and they looked great and the lighting output was great...until they randomly shut off while driving. This was with and without the extra canbus resistors installed. Ultimately this was a 2015 year issue and not a Morimoto issue and I was able to return the headlights to headlight revolution.com without issue. I do not have AlphaOBD so I can not say if that would have changed things so beware of you have a 2015 and add aftermarket lights. Oddly enough my DiodeDynamic SS3 fog lights did not give me any issues.

Very nice!!! So much brighter and visually nicer than stock, my opinion.
Thanks! And I definitely agree, I was so used my stock lights at night so I'm happy to not only have an improvement on the appearance but also visually. I actually haven't had a chance to really try them out at night, but I do can't wait and there might be a chance I'll have to align them properly.

I was considering on going with the 2013+ sport look with the amber DRL and projectors and saw a brand on Ebay that was like 400 for the set I believe. Which I thought that I wouldn't care if they started to have issues after a year plus, but like at the same time that's just a headache.

Either way this route I'm hoping is the best for me considering the warranty and quality. Not to mention the most positive reviews out of most brands, so if these last me for ages I'll be happy cause they're pretty close to the actual price of a 2013 mopar set as is.

That's an unfortunate issue you had to deal with :/

Hi Canadianbreed,
I am interested in upgrading my lights to the moromotos but a bit confused....
The lights are plug n play but there is a DRL harness and mini fuse adaptor needed(?)?
Clearly I need to do more homework......

This is if your vehicle isn't 2013+ with the new LED amber DRL, seeing as mine didn't have it the harness was then apart of my order. The annoying part is I never knew about this mini fuse tap adapter until emailing morimoto after installing my headlights and realizing the harness didn't fit, so now I'm waiting on that part to come in just to install my harness as a locally bought one won't work from what they told me.

So key that in mind when buying that you'll need thos adapter if it's an 09 - 12 only, the website showed this option for the white LED DRL pair but forgot to include the option on my Amber's :/. I hope this helps!

I'm a big fan of the sequential style turn signals! As long as you like them and you're fogs are not blinding oncoming traffic that's all that matters.

Same here, always liked sequential lighting so this was a nice bonus. I'll be checking to see how my lights are at night on friday (Will be my first time trying them at night), been watching a lot of videos on how to align your headlights and fog lights just so I don't ruin anyone's driving experience :).

Here's a video of the lighting at night:

This video doesn't have clips for how they look on the road though, but I'll make a video soon on how my visibility is! For now I've attached a preview photo, which shows my low beams + fog lights on
