Right Rear Turn Signal Error - Seems to work fine

2015 1500 Laramie - Completely stock setup. LED taillights. I've recently started getting a Right Rear Turn Signal error on the dash and fast blinker. From what I can tell, all lights seem to be working fine. This happens frequently, but not all the time. Any thoughts on where to start troubleshooting? I've disconnected the taillight connectors and reconnected, but the issue continues.

Appreciate any guidance.

Have you looked at the actual lights when the message appears? You can turn on the hazard light and get out to see if there is any issues.

Yes, the lights all seem fine - even when the error message appears and blinker signal is fast.

Sounds like a bulb is out. You checked the 3rd brake light as well?

I'll need to check the 3rd light as well. I've never noticed - does that blink as well?

Crazy thing is that this only happens intermittently...

Finally was able to recreate the issue. Looks like some of the LED bulbs are not working (center LED in top 3 rows). Not sure if these are repairable or if I am destined to replace the whole light...

I also intermittently have this problem. When i get the right rear turn signal error message in my 2020 1500 Lonestar, the interior (amber lights) on my turn signal start barely flashing. The LED's dont work, at that point, but the amber ones kind of glow. Then in 6 or 12 hours, when I stop receiving the message;. Everything works fine.
