I have a 2019 5th gen ram 1500 with the 275/55r20 Bridgestone alenza tires. These tires are ok until I hit snow. Wanting to go to an LT tire. Looking at discounts firestone destination X/T LT275/60r20. I was wondering about what mpg drop should I expect to see? Cruising at 60mph I get about 22. Also will filling these to say 50 psi, would the tpms give me a warning for pressure being to high?

No warning for too high. I'm at 55 psi on my ko2's. Mpg I didn't notice a difference really.

I put 10 ply E rated KO2s on my 2022. I run about 43 psi in them. At first it seemed it was harder to get the truck to go into eco mode, but 2000 miles later it doesn’t appear to have affected mpg much, if at all.

Make sure that you tell the computer that you have the taller tires, so the speedo is a bit more accurate.

How do the 2 tires compare as far as weight as that will usually hit your in town mpg.
Taller, probably heavier, more aggressive tread, I would expect a little hit on mph maybe 2-3 mpg depending on season.
