Has anyone else found that your seats are only partially leather. I was disappointed when my 2022 limited 10th anniversary edition arrived with only partly leather seats. My 2020 limited had all leather seats and I loved them, but if I would have known the 10th anniversary edition was only partially leather I would not have ordered it. Worst part is Ram said the truck was built correctly so tuff . This is my 4th ram had a 2014,2018,2020 and now a 2022 . It will probably be my last if I don't get something from RAM. It was advertised as leather seats. Has this happened to anyone else?

How did you determine that the Ram you bought is mis-advertised?

Where did you see that the seats were full leather?

The term "leather" has been abused by the whole industry. Our Acura, now our son's, has pleather, and it is coming apart. That said, Ram was making a big deal about Longhorn and Limited trucks having more leather than a Ferd and a Chebby combined. The seats in my '19 Longhorn are great. The seats in our '20 Grand Cherokee, not so much.

What part is leather, what part isn't? They often advertise 'leather seating surfaces', which means the parts you touch when you sit in it.

Same with a leather couch we had at home. Sides and back not leather. Have to say it was over a month before I even noticed that.

I read the Ram.com website and it states that the 2022 Ram Limited 10th Anniversary edition model has “premium quilted leather bucket seats”.

What part of the bucket seats is leather, and what part of the bucket seats are not leather?

It used to be Laramie was leather trimmed, and Longhorn and Limited were leather.
Still is, as far as I know. I spent a lot of time in the last month on Ram's build website, and that is definitely one of the differences between the HD Laramie and either of the HD Limited's.

The cloth portion is between the center panels ( where the AC and heat comes out ) and the sides . As far as how I was told they were leather that came from RAM the lady read it to me she said it states leather seats. ( customer support). Thanks for all the feedback guys.

As far as what I wanted RAM to do , as set of seat covers would have been nice. But with the AC and heat option probably wouldn't be a good idea. I am a mechanic so keeping my truck clean is a job. I was happy with my 2020 seats they were easy to clean.

On the 1500 If you go on the build web site and select a limited it says "Premium Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats"

The Limited HD truck seems to be different as it doesn't say "trimmed" and also says 100% leather

GM went thru this back in the 80's------they got sued ---and lost----cause the "leather seats" were not all leather so they started advertising "leather seating surfaces" and the vinyl used tor the rest is a real close match. The pleather, or bonded leather is a very thin leather layer bonded to a heavy cloth and I have read that it has an 18 to 24 month service life. That is what a lot of rv's use now and I have replaced quite a bit of it---usually using a good, long lasting marine vinyl. Art

See post #12. The OP purchased a 10tn Anniversary Limited Ram 1500 Model, which has a separate listing online for the description of the front bucket seats.

Don’t think they have used full leather in any of the vehicles since around 2004! The seats have been partial vinyl for a long time. Seating area is leather, sides and back are vinyl. Have friend who does interior repai4bandvwork and showed me how they d9 this. All the manufactures do it. Katzkin leather interiors are part vinyl also, so are PUI interiors. And actually that vinyl is great quality stuff and unless someone showed you, you would not know which was which.

Those days are long gone, at one time Chrysler vehicles featured fine Corinthian leather seats..
