I just took delivery of a 2022 PW and I'm enjoying it so far. My research suggests that +18 is the ideal offset for 37" tires. How much trouble am I in for if I fit 17 x 9.5 +6? I just can't get these Black Rhino Armory rims off my mind. The local shop is recommending Kenda Klever RT tires in 37x12.5R17 (D) but I've never heard of this brand before. Go for odd combo or stick with tried and true AEV Katla + BFG K02?

A Carli/Thuren front level is not out of the question. The truck will rarely intentionally go off-road but it's getting harder and harder to tell on-road from off-road lately.

Thanks for the help!

I can't speak to the Klever model specifically, but Kenda has been in the tire business for many decades.

Thank you for the replies. I like the AEV wheels and +18 or more is ideal, but I'm still stuck on the look of the black rhinos. I went to the Jeep forums and youtube to find some reviews of the Kendas and almost everything was positive. Nitto makes great tires too; I've killed a lot of 555s in my day. For whatever reason, the local shops have very limited offerings in 37x12.5R17 these days.

I stole this image from a member on the forum who is running the setup I'm considering and I love the look. 113483.jpg
Off to order the Tazer for tire size adjustments and probably the Randy Ellis front light bar.

I like the look of those wheels too, however i do not like the width/offset options for the ones that bolt up to our trucks.

Kenda is a Chinese company. I know some times I don't have a choice on buying Chinese products but when it comes to tires I do have a choice.

Ugh... Let me get the shop to re-quote this then. If the difference is a couple hundred bucks and a week or two, I would prefer a domestic option. I'm new to this forum so I won't risk my standing over the "Taiwan isn't China" debate. The offset on the Armory wheels still concerns me... Perhaps bigger fender flares and a lift?

If you do a full on tall lift with bumpstop drops it would help with clearance, but otherwise you will just have to trim a bit at the back side of the front fenders (pinch weld area) for 37’s to clear. A +25 offset (give or take) would put you in a much better position though.

I'm not sure where you're from, but if you take the wheels to a high end wheel wholesaler, you can have the wheel machined normally up to 8mm to help increase the offset

Nice looking Cummins! Congrats on the new shoes.
I really have my heart set on 37s and if the Armory wheels and China tires are off the table, I need a win somewhere...

It looks like we're back to the drawing board unless somebody running the Black Rhino Armory +6mm wants to chime in. I have a sawzall and a fresh blade (for an $80k truck...)

I was looking at bfg ko2 37in but I tow a lot and work out of my truck. 37in would of been to expensive. I have black rhinos on my chevy 3500 and I like them but I rubbed like crazy. I rather not trim or rub a 80k truck that's my 2 cents. Lots of options out there to make it happen might not get exactly what you want but the Sawzall can stay in the tool box lmao. Fyi with +25 I think I can clear 37s with just my 1.75in leveling without trimming.

They have that wheel in +12. I have 37x13.5 Toyo MT tires on a +18 wheel and it required a lot of trimming. If your willing to trim and cut a +6 would probably work. Guys are running 37s on stock wheels and trimming to fit.

Yea the stock wheels offer the most clearance to the fender, but 37’s will rub on the radius arm and sway bar (although dosnt really cause any issue).

Trimming with 37s even on Power Wagons? If I understand correctly, which maybe I don't, at +18 offset or the factory wheel, the Power Wagon's lift is enough to clear without trimming. If I have to trim for 37s regardless, I might as well get the wheel I want and start cutting.
