Looking to get some Cooper AT3 XLT's soon. I've got a stock 2016 Ram 2500 and would like to go to 285/75/18. I was wondering if anyone knew if this size would rub on stock rims/suspension?

that is a rare tire. I have never seen a 295/75-17. I bet you mean a 295/70-17 which considerably shorter than a 285/75-18That size should work fine, I am running 295x75x17 same tire on my 2018 2500. No problem.
Isn't the 285/75 basically a 35" tire? So wouldn't this size rub?Yup I had that same size and had no issues. One can fit up to 34" tires on stock rims and with a 4.5" offset rim ... but once you go to 35" tires they rub on the sway bar with stock rims and rub on the pinch weld with the offsets.
I like my coopers when we had them but have to say the Toyo AT3's are the best tire we ever had so if your still looking check them out.
Yes .. 285/75-18 = 34.8 inches.. my mistake, I had 285/75-17 = 33.8" .. maybe it won't rub because it's skinnier but rims at a 5.5 back space will fix it.Isn't the 285/75 basically a 35" tire? So wouldn't this size rub?
