I'm looking for a radiator recommendation. I just had my 4th radiator in as many years spring a leak, to say I'm frustrated is an understatement. Usually, it's the tank that springs a leak, this time it is the core leaking. I can't recall what two of the brands were, but the first was the OE radiator and this one was manufactured by OSC.

This is my daily driver, so I am not looking for high performance, but I do live in southern Arizona, so being able to handle the heat is a plus. Even a full aluminum radiator is acceptable as I won't have to worry as much about the tanks leaking.

Thanks in advance.

I replaced mine last year with the cheapest one on Rockauto. CSF 3572 for $102. With a 192* thermostat instead of the stock 203* my temps stay about the width of the needle lower than before.

I recently installed a new OSC radiator in my 2005. They come with a lifetime warranty, so maybe you can get a replacement for free.

a year ago, 2 companies seems to have some kind of merger

US Motor Works Acquires Assets Of OSC Automotive Inc.

First thing that i would do
I would go to a real radiator shop, not a garage, not a auto parts store.

A Radiator & Air Conditioning shop near you
Where they could remove the tanks & possibly repair it on the spot, if the core is made of metal
If the core is not fixable, they just get a another core & use your tanks to assemble a like new radiator

You mention that you have already had 3 bad radiators
Have you been using distilled water & good anti-freeze

Yeah, tried that since they are the manufacturer of this one with the pinhole leak that I have right now. That may have been true when you bought yours, but it is no longer. They passed the buck and told me to talk to the retailer, my "one year warranty" expired last month :(. On the upside, they offered to prorate a refund on the radiator.

It looks like the top tube, close to or maybe even right at the cap(?) weld seam. I use nothing but HOAT and distilled in my systems. The only additive I added is a UV dye to locate the leak, and that was before I found this obvious pinhole leak.
