Just cancelled Sirius. Is there something better or as good?

I unsubscribed from Sirius a long time ago when I purchased a second car that was Sirius capable, but found it the service is built on a per device model. It is pretty much what is unique about that service is that it is priced per device whereas most other music services are not. What I've found works best for me is to subscribe to a service that allows you to download tunes you like to your cell phone and then use CarPlay or Android Auto to play the tunes in the car.
You said you are not a techie person ... so my advice would be to do some online research by searching "Best music service". Read the reviews, decide what is important to you and then select one service that seems to offer the most for your purpose. Then do additional research on how to make the most of the service you are subscribed to. Subscribing to more than one service simply adds to the confusion between services and is terribly redundant in my mind.

Dropped sirius since the variety on Ozzy's Boneyard has diminished. Use amazon music now.
I like that it has deluxe edition albums; e.g. Led Zeppelin III with rough mixes, tracks with no vocals, alternate mixes, etc.
I have a 42 song Zeppelin playlist of misc stuff and songs never played on the radio, like "10 Ribs and All".
Name of "Green_Manalishi", I hope you have original Fleetwood Mac playlist to go with Led Zeppelin:)

Sirius may be "convenient" but beyond that it deserves to be dropped as a subscription regardless of their "deal packages". They are the worst customer service platform I've ever encountered also. Totally overpriced to those who don't know better. I ditched Sirius in favor of just using Amazon Prime Music HD (already a subscriber at home) or Radio Paradise connected through the "Media" port to the factory head unit. I also have an older 128 GB iPod that holds hours and hours of music that is easily connected via USB.

I live close enough to the Border with Mexico, that we get very few U.S. stations.
They can broadcast with over twice the power of the U.S. stations

I don't have or even want a Smart Phone
I have a good ole Flip Phone that receives & sends phone calls & i can get voice messages.

It is used for Business Calls & family emergency calls

Unfortunately my answer is no, nothing else comes close. Every yr at renewal time I call them and say "see ya's"! I can't afford it. They give me a much better price. Still too much but much better.

So far the FM radio is doing ok and really no complaints and even better music than Sirius but I also mainly listen to gospel music.
Same here. I only listen to Christian rock/metal. I've never liked Sirius. They never have anything worth listening to for me. I have a USB stick with 400+ songs on it. Every now and then I'll do Amazon because we're prime members.

Sirius was a no go for us. I use Pandora. And really any music service will be decent. They are all competing so they just need to be compared then chosen based on your likes.

You can use more than one. Switch as needed.

Haven't posted here in quite a while but do keep up with the new posts. Saw this and thought I'd throw an option out there...I run an internet radio station, all 60's and 70's pop and rock. News and weather at the top/bottom of the hour; some political satire and original comedy bits tossed in, all commercial free. Weekends are all music, no news/weather with special music programming on Sundays. Give it a listen, if you like it, tell your friends; if not, no problem and thanks for giving it a listen. Have just under 3000 tracks in rotation.
You could stream it on your home PC or your phone, of course there's that cell signal issue again.

That's exactly how I work with them! I've had Sirius for many years and have it in three vehicles. When I complain about the price and threaten to drop it I get great prices and keep on going! All the other options mentioned here have some type of issue and are a pain in the butt to deal with. I on the other hand don't mind haggling about cost.

Everything folks are saying about Sirius deals are true of course. Here is something that might also be useful. You actually don't have to give them a CC. If you insist, they will bill you and you can pay online or with a paper check.

I let my Sirius expire, just began receiving discounted offers, going to wait a while, i have not really left town in several months, so i don't really need it.

When i do sign up again, it will be on a card that's only good for a short period, like 6 months, so they can't get me on the full price of the following year
I dicker with them yearly and always tell them I want a invoice sent to me so they can’t charge my card.

I didn’t read all the posts here but Sirius is hard to beat in a lot of ways. Because it can be streamed, I put my account info into wife’s IPhone so she can stream it into her Civic…so both vehicles have it with only one subscription.

The only music i get in my 1941 Ram is whatever i might hum or sing to myself. No charge, either.
Yes - but how is the sound?

I have a restriction on my driver's license that says I am not allowed to sing in my car, even if I am by myself!

I don’t have the email from
Sirius that lead me to it but it was the Sirius app we downloaded to her iPhone, put in my account info and she is able to play it into her ‘22 Civic. Even has the full menu of channels, etc.
