2016 2500 5.7 direct fit aftermarket muffler??

I'm looking for an aftermarket muffler, preferably a direct fit Magnaflow or Flowmaster for a 2016 Ram 2500 5.7 tradesman. Seems like everywhere I look, there are direct fit replacements for the 1500 5.7's or the 6.4's... Trying to avoid going to an exhaust shop.

so I looked too and didn't see much

what I did see is that your muffler is clamped on both sides. so buy the muffler of your choice and some clamps. measure the overall length that you need and bring it to a welder/ muffler shop and have them weld it the right length with the flares/slip overs needed and then you can install it in your driveway

I did this once with my old 06 and the old man in the small town general garage charged me 10$ to weld it up. I supplied the pipe the muffler and the measures he thought that was pretty cool
cost me like 35 for the muffler 30 for the pipe and 20 for the clamps 10 for the welds and a case of beer for the install

I have the Magnaflow 19439 on my 2016 Ram Hemi. It is great!

yeah I went through same thing. That one is not how the Outdoorsman is. It is single 3" in single 3" out. the Y is further up.

Op I know exactly what you are/were going through I had the same issue I have a 2012 Hemi outdoorsman as well all of the direct fit ones are for the 2 in single out mufflers. There is a couple options for you I ended up getting the Flowmaster Flow FX 71249 which is singe center in/center out 3". Took to a muffler shop they had to do just very little work it is shorter than the original muffler so just had to run a little extra pipe. Took them less than an hour to have done. Had them remove the resonator and am very glad that I did. Sounds great when you get on it but just cruising is very quiet. Exactly what I wanted. You could also get the Flowmaster 72288 which has the offset/center in/out which is how the stock is. Either of those work with very little modification needed and childs play for any muffler shop.

Oh and I assume you meant Outdoorsman? Which has single muffler single tail pipe.
