So if it gets a bit less cold :) over next few days i'm gonna finally fit my suspension kit.
Any particular order best to do it in? Any tips? Torquing nuts best with truck on its 4 wheels right?
I am fitting the following
Eibach pro lift kit ( front & rear eibach shocks & eibach lift springs all round)
New front KYB top mounts and spring seats
Zone UCAs

(these were used before for about 2mths but clean do i need to grease first? if so how much?)
Suspension Maxx front adjustable links
Freedom Offroad Panhard & Carli drop bracket
Teraflex rear sway bar links

I also picked up a set of Thuren rear nuts to help things along.

I don't offroad my truck so i may hold off on rear control arms for now. I think this is plenty for type of driving i do. I really just want to improve ride a bit and reduce the rake a little as i have alot.
I'm gonna add a hellwig sway bar at some point too.
I've done suspension stuff in the past but it's been a while. The rear looks pretty easy to do from what i've seen.

Also should i be taking any measurements first 1. arch gaps to tell the ride height
& 2. for the alignment? Thanks in advance

(these were used before for about 2mths but clean do i need to grease first? if so how much after torq?) Grease after torque spec has been reached. Ball joints can be torqued with wheels off the ground
Suspension Maxx front adjustable links
Freedom Offroad Panhard & Carli drop bracket Make sure panhard bar bolt is in when center punching the holes for the drop bracket
Teraflex rear sway bar links

The "before" position of your alignment cams won't really matter much since you're changing both ride height and upper control arms. Mark them anyway with a grease pencil or something equally temporary.

Even though you're replacing your upper control arms, resist the temptation to replace the struts at the same time. I mean it's fine doing them in the same day but do them as two separate operations. It doesn't matter which order you do them in but do them separately, first finish one then finish the other. I'd recommend do the UCA's first, get them all the way done (other than alignment) then work on the front struts.

This is because it's infinitely easier to remove and install the front struts by unbolting the inner (frame) mounts of the lower control arm, rather than trying to do it from the outside. This is not a job you want to do with the UCA disconnected.

So regarding the front suspension here's the order I'd suggest:

1. remove OEM sway bar end links
2. remove upper control arms
3. install new upper control arms, only do up the frame side nuts finger tight. Take care to install left and right on their proper side, it'll go together if you get 'em switched but you won't be happy with the outcome.
4. leaving all the outer stuff (ball joints) connected, unbolt the lower control arm from the frame and do all your front strut replacement stuff. Again finger tight on those frame pivot/cam nuts.
5. install the new front sway bar links.

As for the rear you can do that all in any order you want. Since a little bit of drilling is required for the Carli bracket have some rust preventative paint handy. Also don't bother trying to do the rear shocks with the fender liners in place, they're easier to remove and install than it is to work around them.

I am about to fit the adj panhard bar. Rear shocks and springs already done. What's the best way to set these? Adjust it on the truck? i'm gonna try without the carli bracket for now and just use the adjustable bar
Am i basically trying to get it as level as possible?

Also did quick measurement from centre of axle and it seems to be 1 inch more to the right now.

Yes adjust on the truck. What you want out of it? to center your axel so one wheel is not sticking out more towards one side. If the axel is offset 1" more to the passenger side you want to make the TB longer by 1/2" so now both wheels will be centered in relation to the frame, assuming you're measuring from the frame.
