FINALLY gave her a hand wash and then decided to do a clay towel on it. She needed it real bad.

I know I should have done the polish and sealant afterwards, but I was beat and I do the polishing and sealant by hand. 2 hours was enough. lol Old age is a *****, or I should say, older age is a *****. When I was younger, I could do it all in one day. Not any more. LOL
Don't feel bad, it is commendable you even hand wash and clay out the paint. I know the feeling though...it does take half the day to make our Ram's look good.

Upgraded RA1 to RA2 radio unit. Installed Monroe Air Shocks. Next projects.

Install used mirror with microphone bought off eBay and find wiring harness that allows me to use the phone call feature of the RA2 and get the backup camera to work on the RA2 screen.

Install new front strut assemblies.

Thanks.
I would have liked to do it all in one day, but not any more. And you're right, it is a big job keeping the Rams looking good.

Oh the joys of a hemi…drove home from work last night to find myself with another CEL. Pulled up a P0344 camshaft position sensor. Might be the same one I had a couple years back. Didn’t notice anything different with the throttle or noises. Maybe a slight rough idle. Hopefully it’s something simple, but knowing this truck it’s far from that.

All of a sudden it's 63 degrees after 2 months of 30-40 degrees, no sun (1 day of sun in April), and rain.

Gotta be careful not to charge out and have the big one. People are stir crazy nuts here.

Summer time so I took off the 66# 305/55-20 Falken Wildpeaks and replaced them with 275/60-20 Michelin Defenders at a paltry 39# ea. My son doesn't like the "grandpa" looking tires, but I will take the 2mpg increase.
BTW, Falkens are FS for 1/2 list.

doesn't look like it takes up much room.

is it mountable on the Right side (pass) as well? Wouldn’t want to loose my balance or slip into traffic :waytogo:
Doesn't take any room. You can remove the ladder itself by pulling two pins but the mounting plate stays put. Yes, you can mount it on passenger side if you want.

asked about my AMP Research Bed Step Retractable Bumper Step mentioned in my signature, so I took a few pics.

Nice size to step on, and feels solid. I think it looks odd turned to the side and sticking out when stowed, like I bought the wrong one and bodged it while drunk (extra annoying since it looks so nice on the single exhaust). It hits the exhaust so I have to raise by hand, and it's been damaged from heat or rubbing (had it for about 9,000 miles). I tried adjusting the exhaust and the step a few times but no luck on my own. I reached out to the company a few times for guidance by phone and email, but while it's supposed to have a three year warranty they never answered or replied so I don't know if I did something wrong during the install, there is a defect, or if it's a design issue. Spent too much money to be happy with getting ignored and having a fitment issue, hence my comment in the signature about not being happy.

At the risk of this already having been pointed out if I remember correctly, there were 2 options for that bedstep(at least if it's an Amp), one that was made for single exhaust, and one for the factory dual exhaust setup. Did you get the correct one?

Probably, but I'd sure love to have their support team verify. The part number and description on the box was for the dual exhaust 09-15. The other part number for the RAM would be parallel with the bumper, not turned.

In reference pics the dual option is turned like mine, but seems to have clearance.

Your correct, There are (2) options from AMP, single exhaust & dual exhaust mounts.

The dual exhaust one actually extends from the side and away from the exhaust pipe.

The one pictured is for a single exhaust model.
