I've had mine since I bought my truck. Sure is better than trying to "step" off the tail gate when it is open. And it is adjustable for the ride height of your truck.

I like the idea of the handle, step stool is fine when at home, but I don't carry it around.
Thought about a bumper step, but the one I seen was stupid money, 4-500.oo Ca.
BTW pushing 80 and last year had heart trouble,
Guess I will have to check these out.

I actually just ordered one after thinking about it for all of 10 minutes. $140 Canadian with tax and free shipping.
Amazon?
While back I built stuff like this all the time, but granddaughter has my welder now. She is doing great with it , fixing a old truck up, 57 Chev, but they have to start on something.

I installed one. Works great. No rattles. Simple install. The self tapping screw are long enough to do the job. Held in securely. Sure does help getting in and off the cargo area.

Only draw back is there isn't small "hold on to" to help the off and on stability.
Other than that, I am glad I got it from Amazon.

dad has had one on his truck for a few years and zero rust so far and we live in the great white north. Also one reason I don't care for it is you have to take it off or flip it down if you want to load a wheeler or put 4 by 8 sheets of stuff in the back. Not to mention you have to drill holes in your tailgate.

I'm a big guy and those flimsy little ladders made out of 1/2 inch tubing aren't gonna cut it. I got one of these. Yeah it costs more but it is very stable and definitely isn't going to break... (completely removable without tools by turning it 180degrees)... https://socalhunt.wordpress.com/2018/01/01/socalhunt-gear-review-stepdaddy-truck-ladder/
I really like the looks of this style. The concept that it can be removed easily is a plus as I have a need to slide things in and out of my work truck. It's pricey but would be much cheaper than a trip to the hospital after falling from a tailgate. How is the company to work with?

I am thinking of adding a ladder when my new power wagon comes in next month. I was going to use rivnuts to mount it though.

I'm eyeing that Stepdaddy. Got to measure the Power Wagon to see how tall she sits.

I'm not in the market for it yet, but this is the one to get. Much beefier, even if you're not a big guy.

They were great to work with. Not a problem at all.
