Hey all! Just bought a gently used 2020 RAM Rebel and it has this in the bed on both sides. Haven't seen it before. Can you tell me what this is (the rail that runs the length of the bed)?RAM Bed.jpg

It is the factory bed rail option. You can get many accessories that utilize it. At this point it is just moveable tie downs. But mopar sells bike racks kayak racks tool boxes etc. That use them.

Wish I had them on mine

Thank you! Quick google search (sorry at work) just mainly shows the rails themselves. What are they used to connect to usually?

I use mine to attach my tonneau cover (rambox bed). Other than that I haven't used them for anything. But I can see the adjustable tie-downs (which come with the utility rails) being useful for people hauling things without a bed cover.

Dang...I was really hoping to see something much sexier in your bed. Haha
Haha I’ll put my skivvies on and sport a pose or two for you tomorrow, but don’t think you’d want to see it.

What do you use yours for? I've never had anything like that on any of my trucks...so just not sure what I'll use it for!

I use mine as a basic tie-down when hauling stuff. Just run your ratchet-straps through the moveable cleats, cinch it up, and head on down that long lonesome highway...!

I had to say this is probably the best header for any thread I have seen on this site. Totally got a laugh out of that one. And like above, I was expecting something a bit more ****. Thanks for the laugh
