So I have a brand new 2022 1500 Laramie with the 12 inch screen. I just have this vehicle a month now and all of a sudden I have no sound from anything. The uconnect screen is not frozen as the volume shows on the screen that it is increasing when I turn the knob. I can easily move to different screens etc but I have no sound from the radio on anything, xm, fm am. I also have no sound from the backup and front sensors. Any ideas?

you may try pulling the fuse to the radio to reset it and try again.

Thanks guys - I tried the reset and that did not help. Speakers actually worked for a little then shut off. Now intermittently even with the radio and uconnect turned off, loud popping and crackling noises are coming from the speakers along with a screeching noise that lasts for 5-10 seconds then stops. I have this recorded on my phone. It is going to the dealer tomorrow.

sounds like another Uconnect 5 issue. I would take it to the dealer. You can also try disconnecting both pos and neg cables from battery and hold them together while you have a cup of coffee. Then hook back up and try.

Update - They have reset the radio to factory and reset the amplifier. It then works until it sits for an hour or two then stops working again. They are now opening a case with Chrysler.

This thread is a few months old. I have a 2019 3500 with the uconnect 5.0 in my tradesman. And now I have zero sound.

I spent the day researching this issue. Reset everything. Disconnected both batteries, reset the audio to default. Short of standing on one leg and Pushing the on off button for 15 seconds I’m done.

Curious psubob what was the damage for the new amp. I’m at 37,400 miles so it’s not covered Under warranty. TIA.
