What error are you getting? Can you share the file?

The file is on the google drive we have access to. I was finally able to unzip it using win7zip. Now trying to figure out why the 39.6 file unzipped will not initiate the update boot on the radio. Anyone else having issues trying to load the 39.6 on the truck?

My screen and digitizer have the lovely bubbling/separation issue, so I gave up on upgrade of the software and may just upgrade my truck. Kind of disappointing there's not recall on them at this point with such a glaring defect.

Contact @RamCares . Some have had their radios replaced for this issue even when out of warranty.

Finally figured out how to unzip the 21.9 file, have to use 7zip and open the archive to then unzip it, anyway now trying to reload the maps but cannot get the radio to react. Anyone else find a way to reload the map files after losing them during an upgrade? I am at the 39.6 version currently and trying to downgrade to the 39.5 with the 21.9 maps it errored out with 01.

There really should be more mentions about UAQ upgraders to add map files surprised no one really talks about it. Given how the AA works 50% of the time whether its the device not supported or simply doesn't acknowledge the plugged in (dozens of cords and 10 different hubs, still same) I need the nav as a backup, I drive all over the East coast and better part of the country regularly so nav is very important.

i think i put the file without the map pack on a usb then just highlighted the map pack on the other file and unzipped it directly to the usb also.

Finally worked using 39.5 and the 21.9 map file, restored navigation maps. Now will do again tomorrow to go back upto 39.6 but this time will include the 21.9 map files.

I have seen on jgc forums a 22.5 and other higher updates for maps wonder if ram will get any?

Please detail exactly how/what you did, unzipped, combined?

Edit:. I bet the jgc nav files would work also since the SW updates appear to be the same

I tried previously with the 22.5 and 22.6 updates unsuccessfully on my parents UAQ & non working nav. Haven't tried with any of the newer updates.

I have P/N 68461699Ax (2020 1500 Classic UAQ 4c Nav) radio that I installed in my 2015 Ram and came with firmware 34.5.0. Any available updates worth upgrading too?

I successfully upgraded P/N 68461699Ax (UAQ 4c Nav) from 34.5.0 to 39.6 via the link posted a few pages back.

Not sure if it's your issue, Some of the later SW updates, require you to be in application version 22.64.x or higher before going to v39.6.x , etc

I've never had a radio go back to booting after error 20, but that's good to know, thanks!
